It is never going to be okay to create deepfakes without anyone's permission. Regardless of the content of the deepfake. If people want to say something they can do so in their own voice and face no body's stopping them from exercising their freedom of speech.

Very worrisome. Specially during elections. A news anchor's deepfake could cause some serious issues. I can only imagine being on the receiving end of this.
One advice for Wion, whenever you show deepfake videos, make sure to put multicolored moving watermark on it. This will deter further Sharing of the video.
