You're in my top 3 story tellers of all time, Murali sir. I've never cried in happiness and gratitude before, watching a video on Hindu philosophy. Thank you.❤️
Thank you for this instructive, comforting discourse. I also have been troubled lately with relentless negative thoughts (not a new experience for me). I am still meditating and praying but less so and have started worrying that I won't be one of the ones who realizes my oneness with God. I'm worried about being born again as ignorant or more ignorant than I have been in this lifetime. I want to go back to when I first started meditating daily about a year ago. When something unpleasant would happen I would think "oh good, Divine Mother is knocking down my ego," and feel thankful. Now I think "oh I just don't have what it takes to experience my oneness with God because I let things drag me down to the point that I lessen my meditation practice." Thoughts like this are very painful especially after feeling a tiny bit of the peace, vastness, and goodness that comes from meditating upon Divine Mother. Thank you for your openness and honesty. They have brought me some needed comfort.
Hi TUlip2, thank you for your honest comment. You are right, these things take time and it's a long journey toward the light. But every step we take towards it brings us closer and is never wasted. Often it helps to practice a guided meditation with experienced meditators - here are many free ones to choose from, if you like: ua-cam.com/play/PLr4btvSEPHaxJ2Zx_eIgyTou2xWGMRzJK.html Many blessings to you!
You speak of my predicament! Ah! Its deep deep pain... and keeps coming back from time to time! Every time, the root cause turns out to be, we are overpowered/ tricked by the षड्रिपू ...each time, it's a newer subtler form! God seems cruel then... as if not helping out... left stranded in the middle of the desert... it feels like walking in the dark... it's scary at times... but it seems more n more that it's kind a " unavoidable gates" u gotta pass through...? And hope it is for a reason, some lessons are to be learnt... and keep suffering inside...like he said," wherever you go, yr mind goes with you, no escape..." My most sincere prayers for every sincere yearning seeker, may we hear the divine calling sooner and louder...🙏💐🕉
If we don't achieve Moksha in this lifetime. I've heard that all of the spiritual progress made will not be lost. We will somehow be attracted to the sorts of things that will lead us back to a spiritual path and the process will seem easier next time around to get to a certain point than it was in the previous life. This is why some people seem like it all comes naturally for them, and they will progress much faster this time around. I wish you all the best. 🙏 🙏 🙏
What a way to narrate a story....entire scene comes up alive and what a way to arrive at a teaching...slowly gradually from the story telling u drive us to the real message n valuable lesson to be learnt in ur stories....thank u for amazingly bringing us enlightenment in end of ur story......🙏
Narada is greatest sage, enlightened, he's a massager, voluntarily he pushes beings to makes things (and gets blammed), he is benevolent ams not cunning as they show in TV serials. He's a Devarahi. Not a normal rishi. He can visit brahma lola, vaikuntha, Kailash, earth, naga loka, earth like all 14 Lokas without restrictions. Even danavas doesn't harm him. He's so respectable. Remember that about Him.
I think because he was already enlightened he couldnt understand why people even succumb to something like maya (ultimate illusion). An enlightened man like him always does the wisest thing, unlike us who get overcome by maya and then receive our lesson. Thats probably why it did not make sense to him why people even falls for this "maya" thing. However, this story tells us that not even someone as great as Narada is immune to Maya.
One time I was dreaming and in my dream I started to meditate, and then I opened my eyes and I saw both of my parents, but they looked like teenagers and looked very happy. Seeing them so young made me think that life happens so fast, and everything is very impermanent and changing. The next thing I remembered was it seemed like I was floating over the Earth, but it felt more real than our everyday life. More real than the reality that we're used to, and realizing this, I woke up. Except the more awake in this reality I became, the more it felt like I was falling back asleep. It was a very strange thing to explain, but I believe that I experienced what is called Turya or the 4th state of consciousness. I have done some research on this since that happened and I heard Turya explained like a play between the other states of consciousness which are awake in daytime, asleep and dreaming, and deep sleep. I think that Turya must've been what I experienced, because it felt like a super reality, and how I felt just like how falling asleep feels, but I felt it while waking up makes me think that is probably what it feels like when we die, like waking up from a dream. Like how Narada Muni felt with Krishna. I heard another story about lord Indra believing he was a pig, and had a family, and they slaughtered his pig family and him, and he woke up and said you wouldn't believe the crazy dream that I had, but it was Maya all along.
15:06 Pranaam I think, I got a clarification of MAYA. Never got a clarity this far. Thanks Swamiji. Expect more stories of such wisdom. May God bless me to understand and experience the miracle.
