  • Thanks for watching!
A hemangioma is a common vascular birthmark, made of extra blood vessels in the skin. It is a benign (non-cancerous) growth. The exact cause is not known. Hemangiomas are typically not inherited, but others in the family may also have had them.

My Daughter was 11 days old when her Hemangioma started to appear, and nobody knew what it was, she was 6 months old when she was finally Diagnosed, in which by this time it was a huge bulbous ball of red hot Blood, which stood about 1inch off her left eye. After her 1st hospital appointment she was diagnosed with this Hemangioma, She was lucky considering it was pulling her face down that it started to fade away when she was 9 months old. She is now 27 and covers what is left of it with make up. But if she gets stressed upset or tired it still puffs up.

Thank you so much! So much great information! I take it that if you don't have your lisence you still have your medical education and years of priceless experience, which is what matters more than a piece of paper! ☺

My daughter was born with 2 hemangiomas on her back, and as time went on they just completely faded. You can’t even tell she had them.

Oh I'm so happy you are still putting out this information❤ I had to figure all of this eczema journey on my own with my boy 8 years ago, it was all food for my fully breastfed unvaccinated boy. I had NO direction or support from any Pediatrician other than they wanted to vaccinate. We stuck the course and found a private practice nurse practitioner who finally listened❤

My baby she wasn't born with her hemangioma but developed one I think a month later and she is now 22months and it's 90% percent gone just two tiny blood dots smaller that a pimple or bug bite looks almost like pen dots maybe but it scared us because we thought she got a blood blister but we left it alone and try to keep an eye as it was right on her hip bone covered when she was wearing diapers never bothered her but we just were a bit more careful as is in the beginning it was a bulb about 1inch in a almost perfect circle it changed shape but eventually started disappearing around her 1st birthday
