Rare did reveal in one of their announcements that Skellies would run out if you didn't do rituals. But I personally think that's a good thing. The ship is so overpowered, if you had infinite skellies, it would literally be almost impossible to take down which would obviously be incredibly unbalanced. As it is with a full crew of skellies, Captain Falcore did a vid and found it takes 6 kegs or something all blown up at once to overwhelm to skellies enough to sink if the player does absolutely nothing. Pretty much the only way for a crew to win is to run the burning blade out of skellies.
@@oskar226 it does suck that it takes up the world event slot and it also sucks that you cant vote a voyage down, BUT he could always go to the roar and stack the ashen message in a bottles.
I think its actually good that the skelletons dont respawn without doing the camps, if you are unbeatable you have to give others a chance to sink BB while doing camps or you just stalling the server without increasing rewards on you and no other events are spawning to fight for.
They do respawn, when you take over the burning blade you have X skeletons on board (say 15, guessing) and Y more spawnable skeletons (say 45, guessing again), when one skeleton is killed another one is spawned unless you are out of your 45 extras. When you complete the ritual both X and Y reset back to 15 and 45 (again, numbers are not correct). But they still respawn if you don't do the camps, you have a limited number of them
@@reudiger2001 I was thinking the same thing. It would be nice if the game could detect the crew size captaining the Burning Blade and would respawn skellies accordingly.
Right did it solo and 4 rituals yesterday and I'm new to the game I was spyglass 360 whole time paranoid fighting off players chasing me luckily they got scared gave up lol otherwise would've lost it probably I suck at pvp against these veterans def felt like shouldn't have so much power I shot the brig chasing me like 3 or 4 times anchor turned flamed em it was amazing
This gold and glory weekend has me suffering from success because I actually hit the Servants lvl requirement to get a couple of the new skele cosmetics but now I have to do burning blade commendations
damn i miss playing this game, but playing solo doesnt bring me that much like adrenaline as playing with friends, and playing with randoms doesnt bring me that aswell, does someone have this problem and has fixed it? i know its not really a problem but i really like this game and wanted to come back to it

Just got that boat today as my second day playing the game and we were getting chased by 2 ships and a reaper ship
it would be crazy to stack on that

they did say whenever you hopped on that you would need to go to the forts to replenish their numbers so it does give some warning
