I used this video to learn Divenire myself and I could not be more thankful for it. I never learned how to read music and only started piano about a year a half ago entirely self taught. Now I can play my favorite piece ever by heart.

@@bonmg7331 Hey, I'm a piano teacher and yet to this day, I can't read sheet music. Just here to motivate you and give confirmation that it indeed is not necessary to learn how to read sheet music. Also, you won't learn it by ear. I don't know why people always think that it's by ear. No, we are not one of those 10.000 people who have a perfect pitch. We are just self-taughts who learned the instrument. Have fun!

I love love LOVE Ludovico Einaudi so since the first time I heard this masterpiece I was wishing to be able to play it myself. Now I can proudly say I can play the full song and just played it on Sunday for a small audience. Everyone loved it and praised me even though I made small mistakes since I was nervous. I’m so glad your cover introduced me to this beautiful creation and I’m so glad I pushed myself to learn it :)

I've been watching this video 5x a day for the past 2 months, with zero piano experince and watching which fingers go where, I can almost play half of this song. My wife is realllllyyy wondering how I went from zero to 100, and I'm not telling her, lol. Thank you, and it's very possible to learn this song!!

This song feels like having hope, losing it, and slowly regaining it over time
It's like you can imagine a whole lifetime in the song
First, I heard this song from my 10 year old son, who's been taking piano lessons for a while now.
I have a lot of fun with him watching him learn, play, and especially when he gets so excited talking about piano music in general.
He loves and knows this song, not as good as this, but very good for a 10 year old anyway.

This has been one of my favourites to play on the piano for a while and I've heard several piano-only versions of this song, including my own, but this is the best cover of Divenire I've ever heard.

do you memorize how to play the actual song or just read from sheet music? Ive never played piano and want to learn
@@dogsdomain8458 its starts with reading from sheet music ,after that you will get sort of a feeling , sometimes it takes months years weeks its different for each one and another , than you can give it you'r own twist ,sorry for the bad english but this is my opinion:D
Not purely memorized. I read from the sheet music until I get muscle memory, but I do memorize tricky sections

I love this song. It starts a little boring, but the build up is incredible and it gets better when you get longer in to the song. It really capture something and I would love to learn to play it.

It took me year and a half to learn this song and I'm almost there! Weirdly enough the intro was the toughest part for me, this is what took me a year to "unlock". Just need to gain some fluidity but in 2-3 months it should be good (but never as good as this version). I'm an autodidact amateur player, but with perseverance repetition and time your brain starts to unlock some things. Amazing. Thanks for the video !
Damn… first time someone else has the same struggle. The first 1 min 30 are the hardest for me to learn.
I play since 2 years and thought I’am bad, cause I just learn by hearing and UA-cam Videos. But if ppl need over a year to learn just this 1 piece, then I feel better. 🙈

@@_Rayku_ yes. Einaudis Pieces have a lot of repetitions which makes them easier to learn. 😊

1 Month after my first comment I can play the whole piece now, but struggle with that part from 02:12 - 02:20.
I have been getting into piano recently but classical music isnt really my thing. But honestly i was blown away listening to this. The way you play it is beautiful. Even though I don't have a lot of experience with this stuff, if a piece of music can sweep me away like that and actually make me emotional, it must be good❤

@@TheFlamingPiano Question: Does it matter a lot how long fingers you have when playing the piano? I notice that Jacob seem to have longer fingers than yours (which i guess makes it easier to reach other keys)
@@rawsnake Maybe not too much, as long as octaves are comfortable enough, though it will make some passages easier for sure
