    It's the confidence in the braking zones to control it right on the limit is what is so impressive. Always on the limit and even if beyond, still appears to be in control.

    He's definitely an outrageously skilled young fella, and most of the moves were fairly described as 'hard racing', but at the same time there were quite a few overtakes that were extremely borderline on the sporting code..... :)

    T1 squeezed as under F1 rules, bad sportsmanship for GT. Fighting for P3 was a very dirty dive bomb. Not surprised he is in C class. And what lobby is this? All SR and iR classes are mixed together. Was it current fun week unranked “ridiculousness” race? This explains him being an AH

      These videos and drivers are a pain for the service because now people in lower splits think this is the way to overtake since driver X does it like that as well and he is in F1. These move getting praise while in reality they are just dive bombs that work because the outside car yields.
      Pcup is always ranked even in week 13 (14 this time). Raced several Indy, F2 and even F1 drivers on Iracing but they are so much more aggressive compared to most other drivers including pro GT drivers and often don't bother with quali so they are just blitzing the field to make up spots.

    • @bloodyvladGT
      @bloodyvladGT 3 дні тому +1

      @ true, i’d report him right away. And if that’s a ranked race how to explain that huge difference in classes and iRating within one split?

      In his defense, they were leaving the door wide open. You've got to at least show the driver before entering the braking zone you are about to defend. @@bloodyvladGT

      @@bloodyvladGT Week 13 (14) Porsche Cup races are official, but don't have the normal safety rating limitation. You can join as any safety rating class. They do affect your irating, and safety rating, just like a normal week. The irating range of the drivers in this race looks like a pretty standard range for a normal low-medium sof top split.
      Only move I'd say is 100% uncalled for is the overtake for p3 at corkscrew. Everything else was pretty reasonable, and a lot of it was actually quite impressive.

  • @Pr0xymite

    Sorry, but the move for P3 was just dirty driven also the T1 inc is his faukltbecauses he forces the other cars offtrack. just sad seeing that people get away with drity racing like this.... and forcing its way through and forcing the car in front offtrack is not good racing.

      most people would not be happy to be on the receiving end of that first move. If you are going to make moves like this in the race because you think your pace is much more superior to the guys ahead, may as well qualify better!

    Im so happy to see all of these younger drivers sim racing and accepting it and truely utilizing it to further get seat time and just laps in general. Always good! Dude the plaxes he made a pass at are insane lol.
    Everyone else goes no I cant do it there I cant do it here etc. Yet here he is going naw I can take it! I can! Lol
    Now some may think its to aggresive but its not his fault they werent defending well. They would all end up opening the door even if only at the end right before the corner. But it is open so cant get mad at it. This reminds me of max driving but actually cleaner in the way hes not squeezing everyone and sitting there like either you move or I stay and ill push you off track.
    I love love this guys driving even in sims.

    • @benburris4735
      @benburris4735 3 дні тому

      They all say the same thing about the tire model being flawed with a large drop off once you reach a certain amount of slip. Nobody is questioning the excellent severe and match up systems, which is why they use it for the racecraft over having the most accurate physics. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive from each other.
      iRacing has a big advantage with accurate tracks, and relatively accurate physics to certain limit. Long time support and reliable online service along with being the incumbent at this point are why it’s so popular.

    All those iRenters with their "fairy driving instructors" telling "monkeys, when they allowed to turn (keep outside, left is clear)" - part of this (unrealistic) show as well.
    As well, big part of it could be an alien's package: paid "screw physics" setup, active or FFB pedals (or other "slip alert" FFB gadgets).

    Move aside or we'll be both ded. Very entitled. P3 had a very predictable line, he was nowhere alongside. It's a non contact sport and you are supposed to prevent contact. You can do some last to first challenge in low gran turismo lobbies, but forcing your way through on a competent field is just not possible, you got to wait for your opportunity. Fast drivers starting from the back just ruins everything for everyone, except that one guy feeling great.

    tbh was a disgusting drive, he was all time forcing the others drivers to get out of instead he will crash into them... If anyone in that race had had that mentality (move or I'll hit you...) on the first overtaking attempt they would already be out of the race due to an accident. Only becouse his name its kimi antonelli and he drive in f1 will permite him doing this things... If someone in this race hadn't let him pass in one of his attempts to crash, he probably wouldn't have lasted even 3 laps without causing an accident, that's the difference. Everyone has had to move away because otherwise they would crash into each other, simply because he doesn't leave any room and he doesn't care about the others, he does his thing and the others should move away...
