Like its Octavia siblings, the Scout - which at 4,703 mm and 1,829 mm is now 16 mm longer and 15 mm wider respectively - offers an even more generous amount of space than its predecessor. The largest boot capacity in the segment to date has increased by a further 30 l to 640 l. The Scout can be ordered with innovative full LED Matrix headlights, which are making their Octavia debut and allow drivers to have the high beam on at all times.
A new, EVO-generation 2.0 TDI with a power output of 147 kW (200 PS) and 400 Nm of torque is celebrating its premiere in the Škoda Octavia Scout - it is the most powerful diesel in the history of the model range to date. What's more, in addition to four-wheel drive, Škoda is now also offering its lifestyle estate with front-wheel drive. Customers can now opt for a 2.0 TDI with an output of 85 kW (115 PS), a 1.5 TSI delivering 110 kW (150 PS) - both of which are equipped with a manual 6-speed transmission - or an e-TEC version of the 1.5 TSI featuring a 7-speed DSG and mild hybrid technology. Alternatively, there is also the choice of one of the two range-topping engines - a 2.0 TSI producing 140 kW (190 PS) and a 2.0 TDI delivering 147 kW (200 PS) - or the 2.0 TDI offering 110 kW (150 PS), all of which come with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DSG as standard.
The ŠKODA SUPERB SCOUT is available exclusively with either the model range's most powerful diesel or petrol engine. The 2.0 TDI diesel engine delivers 140 kW (190 PS) and transfers its maximum torque of 400 Nm to all four wheels via a 7speed DSG. The 2.0 TDI is fitted with an SCR catalytic converter with AdBlue injection and a diesel particulate filter, meaning it fulfils the Euro 6dTEMP emissions standard.
The 2.0 TSI petrol engine boasts a power output of 200 kW (272 PS) and has a maximum torque of 350 Nm. In addition to all-wheel drive, it also comes with a 7speed DSG. Equipped with a petrol particulate filter, the 2.0 TSI fulfils the Euro 6dTEMP emissions standard too. Featuring Stop/Start technology and brake energy recovery, both of the engines available for the ŠKODA SUPERB SCOUT are particularly efficient.
The high level of comfort for the rear passengers, who enjoy a generous amount of kneeroom, can be further increased using some of the many ŠKODAtypical Simply Clever ideas. For example, if desired the front passenger seat can be electrically adjusted from the rear and the optional Sleep package provides comfortable, larger headrests and a blanket. Just like all other estate versions of the SUPERB, the SCOUT features the largest boot in its segment - with a capacity of 660 to 1,950 l. The tailgate can be electrically operated; as an option, it can also be opened using the Virtual Pedal by waving a foot under the rear bumper.

Octavia Scout or Superb Scout?
Octavia is better-looking, but Superb is more spacious and has more power. Then Superb.

Octavia is the new one, Superb is old. The new infotainment and adas systems are more advanced in Octavia.
My brother in law has an Octavia Combi 1.5 TSI First Edition from 2020 and I have Superb Combi 2.0 TDI Sportline from 2017, Superb is the superior vehicle in all aspects... More room, more comfortable on long trips, no faults on the MIB2 Columbus infotainment unlike the Octavia which has software issues even 2 years after leaving the factory. Yes, two different classes of cars, but since we are comparing them in the video... The only thing I am missing on my that I would love to have are the Matrix LED lights, those are phenomenal!
The Octavia is by far the most mature design in the whole VAG group
