    The best review of this product. Illustration with closeup details are awesome. Verbal directiona re excellent too. Only thing was needing to disconnect the tail lights. I just let them dangle and they were fine. Thanks again.

    Just installed one on the driver side today and your videos are perfect, I didn’t even looked at the paper instructions.
    One thing I didn’t do was the 90 foot pound of torque the bolts required. It seemed too much. Some truck lug nuts don’t even require that much. I just made sure it was really tight, that’s all.
    Will soon buy the one on the passenger side, since I will probably need more space.
    I am happy overall.

    Was wondering if you're able to slide a 4x8 sheet of plywood in between the boxes? I sometimes haul a bunch of plywood but would love to have these boxes. Thanks for the video.

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  2 роки тому

      Hey Darren!…so you would be able to fit 1, maybe 2 sheets under the boxes (they don’t go all the way down to bed)…but there’s not enough room in between them once you come up to the bottom of the cases (hope that makes sense)…let me know if that helps!

    • @dcunion10
      @dcunion10 2 роки тому

      @@NitroZ18Fishing Thanks for the reply, I guess one box would allow more than 2 sheets? Because the space would allow it on the side that doesn't have one of the swing cases. It seems to be a design flaw, just subtract maybe an inch from the width so we could have both boxes and allow multiple sheets in between the cases. Your thoughts? Thanks again for the videos.

    • @mattchilders3123
      @mattchilders3123 2 роки тому

      Darren, I had the same concern but I got to thinking that as easy as they are to remove I could just take them off when hauling 10-15 or more pieces of 4X8 plywood.

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  2 роки тому

      @Darren, yea that would have been nice to be able to squeeze multiple 4x8 sheets in between!…as Matt mentioned, worst case scenario they are super easy to remove…you could pop em off if needed, they remove in seconds as shown in the video…hope that helps!

    Good video. I just went to install the driver's side case the big brown truck brought me last night. Unfortunately they sent me passenger side brackets... I had already drilled the holes with the template, so I just screwed the nuts on for now. The other bracket looks like it would be the same for both sides, but the catch piece is different. I went ahead and installed the bracket. You didn't show your method for installing the bolt plates for those. Long right angle needle nose pliers worked well for me.

      Thank you!!...yea for those brackets I just reached up and put the bolt plates in place, I was able to get my arm/hand up to pop em in place...I show the view at the 10:15 mark of video but couldn't do it one handed...haha...thanks for the feedback and support, I appreciate it!

    How long ago did you order your driver side? I ordered mine probably 2.5 weeks ago, installed it 2 weeks ago and I had the old template that the holes weren't correct. I also ordered from Real truck which probably had the older ones on hand. Love it however

    I read on the swing case website, if you have the plastic bed liner you have to trim, not to mount on top? Maybe they improved or just over cautious?

    IMPORTANT: the template CANNOT BE TRUSTED! Put your bracket over the template, line up the bottom holes, and mark the template for the top holes. AGAIN THE TEMPLATE IS WRONG.
