- Noted author Arundhati Roy will be prosecuted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for a 'provocative' speech she delivered at an event in 2010, the officials of the Delhi LG Office said. The FIR against Roy and former Central University of Kashmir professor Sheikh Showkat Hussain was registered based on the orders of the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, New Delhi. The question here arises is - Big Strike At 'Azaadi' Ecosystem?

Section 15 of the UAPA defines “terrorist act” and is punishable with imprisonment for a term of at least five years to life. In case the terrorist act results in death, the punishment is death or imprisonment for life.
So many people have died in Kashmir and so life imprisonment at least !!
