Sounds like your husband does what my ex-father-in-law did, however, he serviced ultrasound machines in cardiologist’s offices and OB offices as well as hospitals… they probably worked for the same company! Lots going on in your life! Hope to get your IG chats, sounds like a fun time! I’m like you, I like big gatherings, and I don’t. I didn’t really get to say hi to you at Stitch-Con last summer. I too was having so much fun there… until I tested positive for Covid Saturday morning and ended up quarantining myself in my hotel room for the rest of the retreat! Oh, well… it’s a great memory!! Lol, we never have enough time to stitch everything we want to! I'm glad you had a nice relaxing Christmas, but sorry you had to leave Stitch-a-way early. Thankfully you are feeling better. I tuned in to your live on Instagram Friday night and I was chuckling when you had to tell your kids to be quiet (and of course throw your granddaughter into the mix, haha). You had me laughing so hard with Puxatawney Phil, the brown blob with the ET head, that I was snorting 🤣😂 Kudos for taking the time to reflect - we all need to do that because every decision we make can effect something else in our lives. By the way, when you showed the Bee Keeper's Sampler the first thing I thought of was that the man's behind was deformed! I would like to stitch that too and will definitely be shaving some off! (If only it was that simple to lose weight! 😆) I have that Margaret & Margaret pattern if you want to stitch it together!

Oh Liz!!! Next time you come to Concord with Tim, let me be your host. I live a stones throw from Kiwi Yarns. Although we don’t have an x-stitch shop we have great antique malls. You went to Gibson Mill…an old Cannon Mills plant, there’s another great one called White Owl which was also a mill. Charlotte has a couple good ones too. If we have all day we can run to SC, about 1.5 hrs away to a great xstitch shop in Irmo, SC. Stay in touch, reach out when you’re heading this way. JHY, Concord NC.

And you should be called “ Switch Up Liz “ with your thread switches lol 😂😂😂Oh and I stitched Many Mansions chart and made changes I added sidewalks in front of the houses I put in a picket fence from the back house on left down hill to front up hill to house on right side. You cast on 150 stitches and slip the first stitch of each row pearl wise! So super easy!!! Happy Anniversary to you as well❤ That was a wonderful gift! Having a local LNS is a blessing I don’t take for granite for sure!!!

I tuned in to your live on Instagram Friday night and I was chuckling when you had to tell your kids to be quiet (and of course throw your granddaughter into the mix, haha). You had me laughing so hard with Puxatawney Phil, the brown blob with the ET head, that I was snorting 🤣😂 Kudos for taking the time to reflect - we all need to do that because every decision we make can effect something else in our lives. By the way, when you showed the Bee Keeper's Sampler the first thing I thought of was that the man's behind was deformed! I would like to stitch that too and will definitely be shaving some off! (If only it was that simple to lose weight! 😆) I have that Margaret & Margaret pattern if you want to stitch it together!

You went to Gibson Mill…an old Cannon Mills plant, there’s another great one called White Owl which was also a mill. Charlotte has a couple good ones too. Oh my gosh you definitely hit the jackpot with those black bird design series. And you should be called “ Switch Up Liz “ with your thread switches lol 😂😂😂Oh and I stitched Many Mansions chart and made changes I added sidewalks in front of the houses I put in a picket fence from the back house on left down hill to front up hill to house on right side. And I made a flower bed on each side of the front house. I just didn’t like all that plain grassy area. I can send you photo if you want to see it by email or IM.

We just celebrated our 32nd anniversary. Congratulations for 27 years. My amazing husband bought me the three days of Christmas from Liz Matthew’s that I didn’t own yet. So now I’m up to date until she designs the last three. Wish I had a few stitching stores somewhere within 3-5 hours of me. As it is, the closest is over 8 hours away.
