- This is the first of a monthly upload of what's happening on the Coombe Hill Railway (CHR). In the January edition Chris Haine puts his brand new Roundhouse Silver Lady through her paces then Julian's Innisfail 0-6-2 Fowler takes the nine coach grey train around the line. This is followed by Pete's 0-4-0 radio controlled GRS battery loco which also has a go with the heavy nine coach train and much more.........

What make are the set of nine grey coaches? Wouldn't mind building some of those for myself.

The Silver Lady is a great locomotive and a credit to Roundhouse. My one dates from the first batch and still runs as good as ever. Why is the burner and the safety valve constantly roaring? With any gas fired loco, this is just waste. You can pull a heavy train with half that pressure…..and for a lot longer✔️
