Not in any particular order but here are a few MUST LISTEN from: Tears for Fears Woman in Chains Head Over Heals Everybody Wants to Rule the World Shout Secret World Closest Thing to Heaven Mad World Here is just a few to start your TFF journey off with...enjoy.
A great British band from the 80's, TFF just don't make a bad song! This one from 1989 is heavily influenced by the Beatles and stands as a great tribute to them. Some other great TFF tunes for you to enjoy include - 'Mad World', 'Shout', 'Everybody wants to rule the world','Head over heels','Woman in chains', 'Advice for the young at heart'. Cheers
One of the best bands of all time ❤ From the first time I heard them in 1983 to now, not one bad song. Saw them live in 1990 ❤ Head Over Heels is my favorite but it’s a tough choice. Every song a winner ❤
Man we need to get you on some Kansas! Try "The Wall" or "song for america" I promise you're going to be absolutely blown away by one of the greatest bands from the 70s.
I envy you, you've just listened to the best band to come out of the 80's for the first time, you are in for a treat, these two guys are the real deal. This song is from their third album, which I consider to be their masterpiece, although many people will chose their previous album, Songs From The Big Chair. Both albums are great, as is their debut, The Hurting, but for my money Seeds Of Love is the best album of all time. On the first album, Curt sang lead on the 3 hit singles, while Roland sang lead on everything else. On the second album, Curt sang lead on what is their biggest hit, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, and the final track on the album called Listen, Roland sang lead on the other 6 tracks. The third album had Curt only sing lead on the lovely Advice For The Young At Heart, while Roland sang the other 7 songs. The duo split after the third album, Roland made two further albums under the TFF name. The duo reunited for the appropriately titled 2004 album, Everybody Loves A Happy Ending, they made another album in 2022 called The Tipping Point. All 5 albums are excellent, even the two Tears For Fears albums Roland made without Curt are pretty good. In my opinion, TFF's best song is Woman In Chains, which features the very talented Oleta Adams, who Curt and Roland discovered singing in a bar in the States. Other great songs are Shout, Head Over Heels, Mad World, Pale Shelter, Change, Secret World, Call Me Mellow, The Tipping Point, Rivers Of Mercy, My Demons, Closest Thing To Heaven, Break It Down Again., there's lots to listen to, TFF have never made a bad song. Dive in to their catalogue my friend, you will love it. I'm 65, it's great to see young people loving the music I grew up on, my son is 27 and he can relate to TFF too.
Tears For Fears are an incredible band, their production and engineering rivals Steely Dan, an ultimate compliment! Definitely check out Woman in Chains, Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, The Working Hour, Elemental, Break it Down Again, Mr. Pessimist, Raoul and the Kings of Spain, and my favorite, Goodnight Song. They're amazing!
My fellow maidiac I haven't heard this song and probably longer than you have been alive. This song is The Beatles.Sergeant pepper's lonely hard club vibe to it
u tune into songs well, yeah tink it was a trumpet, vey kinda sounded like v beatles at times homage 2 bout 25 yrs earlier, curt sang lead on a few of ver hits, try shout, everybody wants to rule v world. head over heels, woman in chains, mad world, v sound of v 80s 4 me.
It's not really a feel good song. It's about his despair at politics, which at the time was Thatcher. I lived through those times and utterly detested her. If we thought that was bad, it has nothing on the s*** show we have today. Fortunately, not for much longer. Whether it was a rip-off or a homage is down to personal opinion, but I say the latter.
What a great song! Thank you Raijah💙
You're welcome and Thanks for the Reaction and I'll be sending you more of them Awesome Group you won't be disappointed

TEARS FOR FEARS are one of my all-time favorite Rock bands. This song along with their album is a MASTERPIECE!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I gladly saw them live twice in the 80's. Absolut beautiful voices.
Loads of great songs by these guys. One you may have heard before is Everyone Wants to Rule The World. Incredible song.
Watched them on MTV in the 80s , they are very positive vibes.

This song is their love song to The Beatles as far as I’m concerned. ✌🏽❤
It's a Beatles "I am the Walrus" knock off. 😱😄
I wouldn’t quite refer to it as a knock off, but they are definitely paying homage to the Beatles.
At the time, being a young rock fan, I wasn't the biggest fan of the new wave genre, but I got older I realized good is good, period.
Definitely a good message in this song. ❤😊
This is trippy lol
Never heard it before
Pretty cool

Absolutely 💯
Another classic! This track reminds me very much of the Beatles. Roland Orzabal could really snarl out a line, couldn't he?
So much influence from the Beatles on this one!! Great song.
