The issue with a video like this is it's called "Silent Breach" but no one ever shows what this sort of breach sound like form the enemy POV because from the attacker POV it doesn't sound very silent at all

Can someone explain what the strat is doing? Why is the charge being placed/why does the press space to rappel in but doesnt do it?
The explosion from the charge would make a lot of noise, so I’m assuming the silenced shotgun makes way less noise. Also the breach charge is necessary to do the “rappel in” animation
You put the breach charge on it so you have the action to swing in as you open it. Suppressed shotgun is a lot quieter than the breach charge explosion.

I did this accidentally with Ash on the upper yellow window of Consolate without shooting the window, only to land on a frost mat. Frost might have weakened the window first.

yes. the breach charge is only there so you can jump in as you shoot the window. so as long as you can go through the actions you're good
