I saw Jeff play with Warren Haynes at the Jerry Garcia Symphonic show in Philly. The most incredible drum solo I've ever heard. Simply amazing.

D'Angelo, "Spanish Joint"-- very nice version. Sipe still sounds great. I remember seeing him play with the original ARU in the early 1990s.
everyday I stumble across another mind blowing band or musician on UA-cam. The suggestions are spot on for me. These guys are amazing. Can't remember what all I went through on the journey to this video today, but I know it started with Marcus King Band.
There was a performance by these guys with Marcus King siting in on a bunch of tunes. I caught the end of it and have an mp3 file of the whole show. It was good. Same venue - Pisgah Brewing.
3 years later and the Marcus King Band is my favorite band lol. Incredible musician.

I've been turned on to Master Sipe's (A.K.A. Apt.Q's) playing ever since seeing some amazing shows on the East coast in the 1990's with ARU and the one and only Col. Bruce, (not the later blond-boy singer, who sounded like every other 90's-rock-period, Eddie Vedder-style, boring glossy vocal belting..nothing against him, just not anywhere close to what it was with the unique artistry of the Col. and his Chazoid)..That group was something special to behold..I'll never forget Jeff drumming his way from the kit all across the stage, up the wall and back again, during some amazing solos..anyway I'm glad to hear he's still out there and grooving with some talented folks..thanks for posting the video Barry, and if anyone has any old ARQ bootlegs or anything else like this, please let me know, I lost a bunch of primo ones i had in a fire..sooo sad!
