Damn, these bikes sound great. That friggin growl and power.
The first two are VooDoo exhaust, I have on my 2014 Max. I looked for a year, before buying these, by far the absolute best sounding pipes for the VMAX.
9
the first one is the best in my opinion.
Stock sound beats them all. Stock is music ....custom is noise.
They ALL sound fantabulous imho.
My favs were 1,2 and I think 5. It was the one one with the chrome mitered cut pipes.
I like the kerker 4 into 1 on the 1200, but that's just me.
Can't find the system anywhere... Need 1 for my Max
@@bacchusthompson5834 its the Kerker 4 into 1. Should be easy to find . I do believe the center stand must be cut off to use this system
@@bacchusthompson5834 ill help you locate one.
@@johndoe-xy4xq I appreciate that to the FULLEST!!!!!!!
Kerker kicks ass! Not just the centre stand, but the entire bracket cut away.
Great video. Thank you for posting.
Got to love the mighty V4
I have a 1988 with the stage 7 , Hindle 4 into 2 full ceramic header system , 1998 front end with the 4 piston calipers each side on a 1985 front rim , progressive springs , super brace , Russel stainless lines all around , 65-watt low beam 165-watt high beam , Barnett clutch plates with a Barnett pressure plate ( this replaces the diaphragm spring with 6 coil springs ) , some fancy heavy duty English made throw out bearing , ported manifold's and heads & a light polish closer to a satin finish inside , Corbin seat , all of the factory options sissy bar , small crash bars for the engine , the tiny V-Max windsheild , Cobalt blue candy paint , frame braces , my custom swing arm that has a loop welded under and to the swingarm itself to stiffen it up ( with braces ) and a bunch of other performance parts , I have been building this Max since 1988 it is garage kept with 44,000 original miles , the bikes in this video are some nice clean examples of the mighty Max 👍
i dig the supertrapps
They sound great. Try a font that doesn’t need deciphering!
V-4s are cool😁
I had a 92 model with Kerner slip ons.I removed the packing material and cut 2 inches off the baffle on both sides. The bike sounded incredible.
Can anyone tell me which exaust is the first one ?
#Monster!🛸
As far as sound goes, Vmax 1200>Vmax 1700.
Wow 🙂🌷👍
Please Yamaha put the V-Max engine on a Cafe Racer/Sport Touring bike without the 1980's Japanese cruiser look. Please! We need different variants of the V-Max motorcycle, for different generations of people. Just like Triumph with their different models of the 2.5L Rocket, they have several versions.
it would be worth taking a look at my video of my vmax with the mega max exhaust should have been in top 3
Voodoo on gen2 is amazing
good job of compiling. the supertrapp @1:30 sounded like absolute feces.
The new generation Vmax definitely benefits visually from less bulky, aftermarket exhausts. For example, 4:55.
At 4:55 that bike has some of the bigger diameter tips.
I want one so bad
Number 1 & 2 sounded the best. 3 & 4 were just out of tune. Any time you you need to crack the throttle a few times to get your motor to run up. It's just outa tune. Sorry.
5:29 --- Dive Bomber
Só não gostei do escapamento, tem que ser original, mas vou comprar uma
need to add my video to the Vmax group smoking out the neighbors
Man, I wish Yamaha put this engine in a few of their bigger bikes. I'll never own a VMax simply for the fact that they aren't built to accommodate a rider over 5'8".
Alfred E. Neuman I’m 6’3 and don’t have any problem. Did you sit on a lowered one?
Unless you are 6'9, the new gen was definitely made for taller riders. I am 5'8 and can't plant both feet flat on the ground, seat is too wide. If you are taller the better.
Tuned Venture royal for you.
U could always get the gen 1, im 5,4 and i fit perfect on the 1200, the gen 2 is impossible for me to use. My legs are also short and my back is long, so i had to lower my sadle, but other than that its perfect for a small rider
@@TheTeykko That's the problem. I'm a big rider (6'3"). I've sat on both a Gen 1 and Gen 2 and thought I was going to break them.
You forgot the vmax 1200 kerker header exhaust sound its obnoxiously loud but its a performance loud not some 300 dollar slip ons!😂😂😂
I thought my RSV4 sounded great but then came along a VMAX.
Only Yamaha
top 20? that means TWENTY.....where is it???
Great engine, but I'm sorry guys, the Vmax has a "face for radio".
This V4 Sounds like american Muscle
To noise is problem you lose the ears.
перделки! сток лучше в сто раз
I still think a KZ900 or KZ1000 sounds better. Imo
How bad is that bike 😋😋😋😋😋😋
Stock exhaust sounds like shit dont be showing that!
Sorry but the max just don't sound bad ass at all.
They are a little more considered with performance than potato on loop.
Lol sounds like a harley guy..
Sounds better than harley
@@keithsmith9889 yes,a butthurt Vrod owner thst wss outran by a stock 85 Vmax with 70xxx miles on it 😁
Here it in real life my vmax sounds like a dragster not a harley going down the dragstrip. Crazy here in real life
