Ohtani clearly transfers his weight into his front leg, the same way a lot of other elite hitters do. Totally opposite from what you’ve been saying and teaching.
He talks about transferring at a specific time what he teaches control of the transfer. You won’t transfer energy as much if weight is already up front

Ohtani is different from the swing you teach because his head is still and he can see the baseball.
