Great video very well explained!! Just wondering if the 178" of fabric is per each tube..and is this before braiding? and for a standard 140" long crib? Is there a way to calculate if the crib is not standard size?
I dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Mohammed Wells I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hello. I recently purchased two of these types of bumpers for my 1-year-old daughter's crib. I purchased them because my daughter has the tendency to knock her head into the vertical bars around the crib. It will cause her to wake up crying clearly from being in pain. I hated having to watch her go through that. So, I thought to myself, "There has to be a common sense/practical solution to this problem. What about some type of buffer, like padding?" As soon as I received the bumpers, my wife went all Google happy to show me how and why crib bumpers are said to be unsafe, according to the "experts" and various statistics. It seems everyone is an "expert" in today's world. Based solely on your experience, how did the bumper you made for your baby work out? What are the pros and cons? Is there any reason why you may regret using the bumper? If you were to have another baby, would you ever use the bumper again? Is there anything to suggest that your bumper was ever in any way, shape, or form dangerous for your baby? Did your baby suffer any signs of suffocation, strangulation, and/or use the bumper to stand on in order to try climbing out of the crib? These were the dangers that my wife found on Google and that, according to statistics, can happen to a baby if bumpers are in the crib. I'm not looking for you to persuade me one way versus the other. I'm just interested in knowing what your experience was. Thank you.
That is totally true. It is unsafe in most cribs and most situations. Specially for unattended new born up-to 6 months in my opinion. This was made for my 1 year old. He is now almost 4 and loves this in his toddler bed as well. He uses this this for his toys during the day as well.
@farodiydecor Okay, thank you. Fortunately, we haven't noticed any dangerous issues when our daughter is sleeping with the bumper. No suffocating, no strangling, nothing at all, and it's still in her crib. It also took care of the problem with her bumping her head. She is 17 months now and is doing great.
Hi dear. Please watch my new video where I made a baby co sleeper and the braiding is explained very well there. ua-cam.com/video/-XrwBA9VKKE/v-deo.html

According to all newborn guides these kind of things are actually very dangerous for the baby. They can pose suffocation, strangulation and choking hazards. Please research this before doing it!!
Hi dear. I totally agree with you. That is the exact reason why parents are guided to remove any soft stuff from the crib while a newborn is sleep. Crib bumpers are for the kids who are able to roll a-lot and might hurt themselves by bumping to the sides.
love the look. So unique. We had difficulty stuffing it. I wish you had spent more time on that part.
Wow. I have been thinking about buying one for my baby girl. I thought, hmmm maybe i can look it up to see how to make it. Here you go… thank you
Just amazing. This is really hard but you made it very easy
Great video! You made this look easier than other tutorials 😀
Thank you 😄
You explained it very well. I made one as a gift for a friend
Great job
Thank you
Did you take apart to fix where you didn't sew it with a 1/4 inch seam?

What is the answer to this question
So you will measure the crib and multiply it by 1.5. As an example for 3 meters your each tube should be 4.5 meters
Omg so cute !! Can’t wait to make this for my baby ❤️

I wanna make a bumper about 5 yards long. What is the length of the fabric I should have before brading?
beautiful
What length should each tube be if I want to get a braid 3 meters long?
You will multiply it by 1.5. So for 3 meters your each tube should be 4.5 meters
Thanks for the tutorial
how long should each tube be before braiding?
Each bread should be 1.5 time longer than the size of the crib
It looks good but I am not clear about the braiding part of it
Me either

What is the type of fabric?
Hi :) do you know the exact name of the fabric that you used? Btw. it looks so cute
I bought it under the name pure plush fabric, but their is another one in the market as well plush fleece fabrics.
@@farodiydecor While I was waiting for an answer, my sister had already given birth. 😂 Thanks anyway
@@yourworstnightmare9905 ahahaha. I’m waiting myself!! I wanna make one at home but I don’t know what this fabric is called. Did you ever find out?
Congratulations for the new baby. I made it for my 6 month old. It is never late
@@tamaraash6602 Fabric is called something like fleece fabric and cotton fleece. Stuff that is used for stuffing is basic fabric from teddy bears

The same people telling us that also advise to inject your baby with 27 poisons so who cares what they say/
May i know how many kgs of cotton u used for this pillow ?
I am not exactly sure about the kgs but I used 2 queen size pillows. According to the google it should be around 1.63 kg of cotton.
What material u use
May i know what material is the white one that you put inside?
You can use any stretching or plush fabric
How much filling did you use?
It really depends how fill you want it to be. But I think I used 2 or 2.5 queen pillows
great
Potrei avere gentilmente questi tutorial un italiano?
👌👌😍👏👏👏
Fabric?
It is pure plush fabric from JOANN.
This is absolutely horrible! Do not put bumper pads in your child’s crib they’re unnecessary and dangerous!
Comment on something else with your negativity. Why did you even look at this video if you were going to make such a stink about it
