Well, stories in general tend to have a happy ending. I am also not too sure how much those imaginary worlds are strong evidence. While going with the flow (the pyschological concept of "flow" seems to me very similiar to what you were describing) does have many advantages we will agree on, I would argue that taking a step back and involving rational thought, evaluating the situation, also has its benefits.
Haha yes particularly Matthew McConaughey’s scene. The rest of it is just a wild party that doubles as a critique of consumerism, solid movie. But something about McConaughey’s performance is magical. He just goes for it.
