Just to be clear I only have to check that lil startup box that is outlined in red to have these settings run while msi afterburner isn’t running ? The settings in the settings tab don’t need to be checked ?

That button specifically applies the settings each time you boot up your PC. Therefore, you don't need to have Afterburner running in background; it's not necessary or recommended, but can still be left to run in background.

You didn't check gpu voltage in settings. go to settings then monitoring then scroll all the way down and you'll see it then make sure it's checked ✅️
