Having moved to oxfordshire a few years ago I have come to really appreciate its landscape and countryside. Of course it has the cotswolds peeking into it's north west corner, but oxfordshire outside the cotswolds doesn't feel any less picturesque to me and it has some surprising variety - from the patches of the great wychwood forest to the north west, the wetlands of otmoor to the north east, the big skies and prehistoric monuments of the Vale of white horse to the south west, and rustic valleys to the south east. Not a dramatic landscape perhaps, but beautiful.

I do really want to return and do one that's on the edge of the Cotswolds
Probs should be RSPB in the title! 🙂
