That is one heck of a road to get in there! You definitely scored the right one with the second camp. Great views, wonderfully captured. Genuinely LOL narrative, and a great sense of family fun times. Thanks for sharing it with us all.
What a awesome episode from crocs to amazing camp sites and no mater how sick you are you still there making sure that episode comes outs what a legend
What an EPIC episode. I think this is your best footage ever, it’s next level amazing. I might be biased though, I love love the Dampier Penninsula, I was just there yesterday 😃. The colours of Broome and the nearby Kimberley are beyond amazing aren’t they and you have shown them brilliantly ❤️💙💚. I’m so glad you love it there.
Welcome to country ! … and it’s getting more exspensive at a lot of places, We just left Jindabyne… NRMA caravan park $440 for two people… 3 nights, best park to stay at due to location…. But won’t be going back, it will be a once off.
Some great drone footage as normal. Both those camps looked great. First one to kick back relax and have a few drinks and the second one to go fishing and other activities, best for families me thinketh.
Cool Ep and spots and squid guys. Gee when I was at Mcgowans a lot of people left there to go to Smithies to go crabbing as they said it was awesome mud crabbing there.
oh really, we heard it was a shiz show with the crabbing at smithies and crazy money so we didnt do it.... we just thought there would be crabbing spots galour in the top end 🤷♂️
$25 pppn….dreaming! Drone shots next level as always! some awesome camping spots and some awesome dusty tracks what an adventure…..but…..where’s ya mates gone the hanger tribe you managed to lose them 😂 great video loved it. Safe travels guys 🤟🏻
Yea crazy, but they are all like that up in that area.. Its like they all banded together to keep the price the same.. Yea we only with hanger tribe during the Gibb then we were always going to back to doing our own thing.. Travelling with other is great but its good to get back to ground roots and the family 🤙
Spewing you reach a wicked camp next to an awesome beach and you come down with the bull shit sickness that sucks the billiards, killer episode mate 👍🍻
Another great episode as usual. That second camp looked amazing. Hope the virus didn’t knock you about for too long Aaron. Steph where did you get the rust coloured jump suit thingy from? Looks super comfy!
thankyou, yea the virus was kicking our butt up and down the top end. We were so over it.. 😑 im pretty sure Steph got it from Surf Stitch.. by memory 🤙
Hi guy's Good job on snagging the camp spot, I reckon I would jumped ship on the other camp spot tooooo ,what a shit go with all those rules in place & to make it worse charged $$$ like wounded Bulls. Jeez no body fart you'll get charged for pollution lolooo. What a pisser you've got the bloody flu again. Stay safe and can't wait to see next upload Cheers wazza 😎😎🤗
the rules were off there heads.. we were so shocked and a bit taken back to be honest.. like its a gorgeous spot, but its locked up tighter than a thailand prison 🙃
Cape Leveque was so overrated, I wouldn't waste my diesel money to ever go there again. Great video guys love seeing the kids getting involved with putting food on the table.
Yea it was a bit of a kick in the guts a bit.. luckily we found the last camp to save the time going up there.. Yea they love getting in involved where they can especially when it come to food 🤣
I found getting underwater (saltwater), cleared my sinuses. I don't swim but found a couple of places where I felt safe with the supervisor nearby. I loved beaches in the north west of WA but was ever so cautious compared to the supervisor. I enjoy your adventures, my biggest regret is that I didn't do something like this in my younger years. We had adventures but nowhere as exciting as yours. To do this with kids is another thing. My two are on adventures of their own and I am pleased that they can enjoy sailing, swimming and whatever they choose. Because I never learned to swim, I believe this held me back somewhat. Mind you, I did attempt to learn but had trouble coordinating one end of my body to the other, I knew the basics but for some reason, my back would bend or I'd forget to kick my legs and move my arms at the same time. I have no trouble on my back, attempting the backstroke is ok at times. In our Kombi camper days, I used to carry a hand drill (this was before battery drills), a pop-rivet gun and pop-rivets plus a few bolts and nuts and some screws to re-fix the ply furniture that shook loose on the corrugated roads of the outback of Aus. We liked the Kimberley and Broome to Kununurra area in springtime. Memories. Hope you get the 4x4 clean. I have a suggestion - get it filthy dirty then have a spray-painter clear coat it! That'd preserve and save you cleaning it. Cheers..
We were in Broome (our first time) about 7 years ago and even back then when we were enquiring at the Broome Tourist Information Centre about permits, passes and camping etc for up at Cape Leveque and along the Dampier Peninsular they were so unhelpful to the point that we felt they didn't want anyone up there. We were happy to pay and get all the correct permits but they were making it so hard and were so unhelpful we just pressed on and went to the NT via the Gibb.
We visited Cape Leveque back in 2019 and were expected to pay $15 to drive through each and every community along the road. Beaches were fenced off and you had to pay to have the privilege of visiting them on top of the exorbitant camping fees which only had basic facilities. We left very disappointed as well.
We are looking forward to seeing what you get up to with the boat, as we have been looking into them…. Weren’t you worried about crocs ? as I have told my other half there is no way I’m going into croc water with that type of boat
Any opportunity we get, we throw the boat in. Obviously we have to be picky with the area,.. you won’t be seeing us cruise up the Daly river on it or anything.. but super impressed with the little unit so far👌🍻
You’re a braver man than me getting in the water 😮🙄😬 back in 2017 when we were there a croc circled a boat and grabbed their motor, they were 300-400m offshore
14:00 feel your pain guys, Australia is getting too regulated and too costly to see our beautiful country. We all should be able to experience and enjoy this country without costing a fortune. Feel sorry for our kids who probably won’t be able to visit most of the places we did 💔🇦🇺😔😔
Unfortunately people take advantage of the situation and also destroy the private property. What else can they do? Yes the prices are over the top though
It's called Welcome to country, you can thank the state and federal Labor governments for this crap. It's all about power & a dollar now. We live in Broome, the worst thing they ever did was bitumise the cape Leveque rd, every man and their dog is there now. Middle Lagoon is the bomb, unfortunately the best days are well over
Yea there is but apparently not there.. Smithy do see a bit now and then but on the other side not as much.. weird i know.. we cant get our head around it🤔
Oh got another ❓; How long and how are you guys doing this as we're 60 in 20 months ,well I am and we can then touch my super and bug a new rig and then with the Mrs super but a van ,but how are you doing it as your younger??
We put the hard yards in years ago and sacrificed alot to get where we are today. We tried to get out to do pre kids but we didnt get there, but its always has been the dream even before it become "fashionable" 🤙
up there that thing was happening for years now.its the goverment allowing the corporarions to do. if ti is private land why the taxpayer pays for fixing and maintaining these roads??????
One registration one insurance for the car but 50 million permits less free camping spots the excitement and expectations are turning to expense and disappointment.Just wander the institutions that are charging for everything how they got from who and to whom they ended up paying. The more popular it gets caravanning camping the more are going to change us.
2 weeks without you guys, wondering where you went, BUT then i saw on skt you caught up with them at a beach somewhere. BUT I notice you picked up the habit of saying BUT all the time like Jake, or did he get it from you, BUT damn annoying once you hear it so often. Safe travels.
Yasss that’s what I thought.. totally wrong apparently 😑 wasn’t happy at that point but unfortunately it’s a case of “it is what it is” . Thanks for watching and the support 👌🍻
That is one heck of a road to get in there! You definitely scored the right one with the second camp. Great views, wonderfully captured. Genuinely LOL narrative, and a great sense of family fun times. Thanks for sharing it with us all.

Some great drone footage as normal. Both those camps looked great. First one to kick back relax and have a few drinks and the second one to go fishing and other activities, best for families me thinketh.

yea, not sure what the go is but it was def disheartening.. 🙃
Shame about the expense but fantastic video guys Jeanette and Ed
Yea it was pretty up there.. but nearly every camp was the same unfortunately 😑
Great vid, get well soon.
Thanks mate appreciate the support 🍻
Love your editing dude and drone shots are amazing. Do you colour grade, if so what LUT if purchased one. The colours are great imo
Thanks mate appreciate the kind words, nah no LUTS pack. Just basic colour grade…. 🤟🍻

I love it
Thanks mate , appreciate the kind words👌🍻
did you get your permit to breath the air
affective in 2025 🤔
I’m with Aaron with crocs so ugly but very comfy and practical… 🤫 I still haven’t got a pair but I know I’m going to have to when we hit the road 🙄
They are the caravanning accessories you never knew you needed and never wanting but end up getting 😅
Disappointed in you 😉
You’ve let the ‘no croc ever team’ down!!!
Top video as usual though 🥇
😂 Ive let myself down because now i wear them.. Thanks guys for the support 🫶🤙
Beautiful ❤
Thankyou and thanks for watching ☺️
Hey guys I think we are a few weeks behind you and we got caught too mate we won’t be back there is other places and as good or better
Yea, crazy expensive but still a gorgeous part of the country nonetheless the less 🤟🍻
Who's country now?
🤷♂️ struggle to understand whats going on in the modern world.. hence we dont watch any news any more . thanks for the support 🍻

Yes the prices are over the top though
I not sure what the answer is... Yea the price were something we havent seen before in our travels.. it was super crazy 👍

@@LostTribeAdventures unfortunately it's Australia wide, if it's worth a dollar it will go
No point in doing the DP unless your into fishing bro, like a tinny to go and get amongst it. Some of the best reefs in aus.
Oh yea the fishing is off its head.. 14yo pulled a 1.4m 44kg cobia off the point.. thing was massive..
This is what happens when land is GIVEN back and it becomes "private property" 😡
😑😑😑 yea I know ☹️
25 per person ..omg ..they stuffed the lucky country ..no longer .
Disgusting gov
Yea 25 big per night is getting up there isn’t it 🤟🍻
@@LostTribeAdventures yes .absolutly

Yep WA the locked out state.
yea we starting to find that out now a bit.. 🤔
Nothing like a bit of local knowledge to find the best campsite. Hope the bug has left your body by now.
Local knowledge is def key to some wicked camps. The bug is now well and truely gone.. thanks for watching and the support 🍻🤙
I don't blame you regarding your views on permits and having to pay for everything, a local money grab that is becoming far too normal in WA.
yea its become the norm now.. its a shame as prices increase people will flock to oversea travel again👎

All this crap with permits to visit your own country is absolute BS.
