I've drop that laptop 4-5 times on the floor from the height of a window o.o and the fans are kind slow so when I do heavy work with it, sometimes I forget what I was doing before the current operation gets done =] But anyways, not that I have a particular dream job in mind but I always have been fascinated by 3D animations and games in general, I am a child of the Nintendo era =] (ever played with a TI Texas Instrument? Atari ? Commodore ? :) But I never took the right decisions to be in the field, never thought myself worthy to be part of it even if I have some basic knowledge of a few 3D package and a load of game playing experience that could allow me some minimum realisation I guess :)
I had some kind of Atari, maybe 2600 and I think a Commodore 64. And of course lots of Nintendo's... But if you want your dream job, you better start somewhere. Get cracking :) Basic knowledge is all you need to start working in the field.
Down in the forest we'll sing a chorus. one that everybody knows hands held higher, we'll be on fire singing songs that nobody wrote!!! good job with this animation fren x)

@stellanjoh2 hehe no they dont animate films, Its designed for gaming that this is one of few animations outside of a game they have made, Looks for the game crysis 2, on pc, its made with cryengine 3 :P

Hmm XP ? both of these cryengine animations were rendered on xp :) And on very low end hardware.

this is really cryengine 2... just with high detailed models and textures.. look at the photoreal maps, thats ingame and looks cool

OS uses around 200MB or 1Gb system ram depends on OS.
but it doesnt use Vram.
