Rearing 'Attenborough' - The first days of a captive-bred Bearded Vulture chick

- The Bearded Vulture Captive Breeding Centre of Guadalentín in Andalusia, Spain, welcomed their first Bearded Vulture chick of the 2020/21 breeding season! The chick, nicknamed 'Attenborough' after the legendary Sir David Frederick Attenborough hatched on 29 January, weighing 145,1 g. This little one now plays a significant part in the conservation efforts to restore the Bearded Vulture to its former range in Europe.
