- On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a unanimous verdict declaring the Election Commission of Pakistan's order to delay elections in Punjab null and void, and ordered that the polls be held on May 14 in the province. The court's three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and including Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Ijazul Ahsan, issued the verdict on Monday after hearing arguments from concerned parties. The court ruled that the ECP's decision to delay the polls was unconstitutional. The petition regarding the delay was filed by the Imran Khan-led party after the ECP postponed the elections till October 8, citing financial and security constraints on March 22.
The revised schedule for polls in Punjab was ordered by the court due to the ECP's order causing delays in the process. The bench also directed the government to provide Rs21 billion in funds for the elections and ordered the election commission to issue a schedule for polls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

There's another solution for availability of funds to fulfill the Supreme Court's order is to slash Pakistan Judiciary's budget by the amount they are asking, then watch the results if SC accepts 4 a full bench.

First off, The Chief Justice and the other judges have already agreed to that proposal, actually the CJP made that proposal himself, so, turns out not everyone is as selfish as you sir.
Secondly, Elections in 90 days is a constitutional obligation of the judiciary, military, commissions and government, the proposal you have made would be an act of great injustice with the judges as this is not their problem, they have to pass judgements while withstanding enormous public and private pressure, i'm surprised how the CJP hasn't lost his mind by now, he seems like a very strong man, anyway, it is certainly not his job to provide funds, "election budget" is an actual part of the "annual budget" which is to be fixed by the Federal Govt, the Federation can't just say "NO" and reject holding elections, so stop giving baseless arguments.
Third, there is absolutely no security issue, there hasn't been any sort if attack in Punjab for a long time now, it's bogus to delay elections citing security reasons while also not providing adequate forces to defer those security threats, stop advocating for this govt, we all know how they were formed and how they run the system, stop acting like they're gonna fix everything, CUZ THEY WON'T.
