Great idea to exercise and eat better. I was in that place in 2008 and I just asked myself what was in my control. I focused on those things and let others like the economy (it was very bad back then too) go. I stopped drinking soda. Stopped eating junk. Started exercising and quit listening to the news. If I did it, you can too! It's my first time here but boy oh boy do I feel you. You've got this, Sweetie. You do. Love on yourself and your family this summer. ❤
I started reselling during the pandemic and everyone had extra money and nothing to do except shop online. My sales were, in my opinion, pretty great right out of the gate and I was so excited to set new goals and see steady growth. Now I sometimes feel like I’m barely hanging on. I’ve realized that I definitely have to shift my mindset and adapt to what shoppers are looking for now. Sourcing with more intention and not just picking stuff up because it’s cheap or cute thinking someone will want this! Money is tight for everyone right now and there is a lot less “frivolous” spending going on. Hang in there girl! You are not alone!
I feel You , my sales are awful and makes me want to quit at times ! I didn’t have a posh sale in 14 days and I feel like I’m always listing ! Hang in there ❤ working out really helps my mental health ❤
One thing that helps me when I'm feeling like that is I just list a bunch of stuff that I'm ugh about in my death pile for cheap ish. Helps clear it out and make room and sometimes increases sales too
Girl I feel this in my soul! Sales have definitely less than stellar. Just remember, comparison is the thief of joy, so don't let that bring you down. Sending hugs ❤
Oh and I think that Coach is authentic the creed matches, stitching is good, and the numbers look correct. I'd like to know how they figured it wasn't authentic....it looks like the Sonoma Drawstring bucket bag. 🤔
i feel you ,big hug to ya girlie .EVERYONE IS FEELING IT .LORI TATA {you tuber }is a reselling beast and she said she didnt have sales on posh either 1/3 of last month not 1 single sale .like 11 days out the month absolutely nothing. .summer months are always a hard time for sales me included.i just took a week off cuz i was so stressed too .and i LOOOOVE this job.i just do EBAY. take the time you need, if your mental health isn't okay than nothing else will be either.good luck .dont forget WE ALL DEAL WITH BURNOUT some people just hide it or maybe they dont even realize it ;you are not alone ''
I am a stay at home mom reseller from Michigan also and I feel this! Especially the nothing around to source! Hang in there and I hope your sales pick up!
Hang in there!! Keep your head up and take care of yourself first. Maybe take the month off from thrifting and focus on getting rid of some of your current inventory so you’re not overwhelmed and learn more on the business and make some changes where necessary. Good luck!!
Hey Stephanie, I am feeling the same lately. I listed way more than usual in may and my sales were terrible. Most were low dollar clean outs. I myself also find myself comparing to others, but it really is not good for us since everyone’s situation is different. For example my situation, since my household is only one income with my supplementary reseller “income”… there are times when I can’t even afford to source new inventory to keep myself busy listing. It’s a bummer especially when I see others spend so much money thrifting. I’m lucky to spend $50-60 a week on thrifting if I’m even able to. My sales in May only totaled out to around $200 for the whole month, so pathetic I know. Also that’s why I don’t share how much I make in my what sold videos anymore. Anyway sorry I just threw all that out there, but sometimes hearing someone else’s perspective can help you feel you’re not alone. I hope your sales pick up, and as always I love your videos and look forward to more. ❤
I was really discouraged too until I started going to estate sales. I pay more now but the inventory is way better. I go for plus size, nightgowns, mature brands, mens ties and blazers etc. Find niches that others pass on but sell well. Hope you have access to estate sales. I source friday and saturday mornings only. Trust me your reselling will take a turn for the better if you abandon the bins and source at estate sales.
hey Girl just a quick note ive always heard EBAY can kick you off for selling a bag thats not authentic'.so id just keep it'unless you go through the authentication process💙
The resellers with high sales have been working on a high number of listings per day with high sales through rates for a few years. We can not compare ourselves to them if we only list 5 things a day. It's OK for me not to expect those high number sales. Instead, I focus on my small goals and make sure I'm hitting those. Lalety, I'm looking for content that is not from reselers but from fashinistas that have a high number of followers and pay attention to some of the fashion trends they talk or buy. We need to be ahead of the game and not just buy things or brands that other resellers talk about.
Hi, I hope you feel better. in regards to reselling primarily on eBay, because that's where I'm at, have you tried promoting your listings? I know that means you pay more but It does really boost sales. I have about 2,000 items in my store and most of them get a standard 3% promotion but about 200 of them, which are usually my older items, I promote at eBay suggested. I see items that I just listed sell and They sell without promotion. Hope this helps.

Also promote at least 4% because reseller influencers are pushing promotions so unfortunately now everyone is promoting.
Perk up. Things in life seem to come in waves good and bad. You will get through it. Sales are just a lil down. Hopefully it picks up again soon.
