Idk why they charge 100 for the braided loop lol, I get knock offs for that one on Amazon 3 pack for 12. Nike sport loop/ band colors are great for workouts and the basic band looks good with anything.
This is the second video I've watched that really liked the Sport Loop band. Great to see, since I got that one with my first Apple Watch this Christmas.
@@camsecore The Nike Band. It's the best one for me for the gym and exercise. I don't have to worry about it taking awhile to dry or holding sweat like the some of the other bands.
my milanese crapped out in less than 2 years, the magnet area starts to rust and eventually the entire magnet fell out. The nylon strap so far has been good but its completely discolored from sweat, to be expected though
I recommend the braided solo loop, it looks very classy especially if you have a ss, and you can work out with it and if it stretches just throw it in the washing machine and afterwards in the dryer and it should both be clean and in its original size.
Really nice video, love how calm and concise it is. Your eyes are very striking, which I'm sure you've heard a lot. I think the look of the braided loop is lovely, but I just can't justify the pricetag on it. I've been looking into the sport loop, something in the sport band irritates my skin, unfortunately. Has the hook and loop on yours given up? Was there a point where it was so weak that you simply got another instead of risking failure? I'm interested in your response.
Got the Sport Band with my 41 Nike Series 7, but have been using the Sport Loop (bought separately) pretty consistently. I like how the Loop feels, especially when using my Watch for sleep tracking.
Hi Cam! My Apple Watch is amazing, and I love the product red sport loop, I’ve only had it for one year, and I’ve noticed the Velcro is getting less sticky and I engage in normal every day activities. Nothing extreme, is this an issue?
That's just the way it goes with the Sport Loops. I have one that's four years old, that has lost a significant amount of stickiness, but it still gets the job done!
Thanks for replying Cam! I do have the starlight sport band and I had it for about six months, and I’ve noticed it’s not as soft As I’ve got it in the box, it’s become more rubbery. Does this normally happen?
@@JG-ym5mo Sport Band or Solo Loop? Sport Bands age really well, but basically just becomes less shiny and more flexible overtime. No idea how a Solo Loop ages.
I want to choose the Solo Loop when I upgrade my Apple Watch but I'm not sure if it will work as well as my Sport Band has been. I really like the soft touch after several years. Is it very sticky? Because I want to use it at night and I don't want the band to stick between the sheets.
The sport loop is my band to go. Really love it. Have some genuine sport loop and a couple of knock offs. Although the price of the official apple band is way higher , the quality is much better and worth it imo.
Thanks for this! Great information here as someone curious about the other bands out there. I've had the leather link band for many years and it's by far my favorite. Super comfortable and it's held up remarkably well. I still wear it daily on my Stainless Series 3 (I'm long overdue for an upgrade, haha).
@@camsecore agreed! I grabbed an extra leather one when I found out they were ditching them. I'm still not over the leather phone cases going away either.
Great video! Exactly what I needed 👌 Have you tried the new textile link band? The one that replaced the leather link. If yes, what’s your opinion on it?
@@JoshSher_ It got pretty worn down and aged poorly in a short amount of time. I also don't like the way it feels when new (I don't know how to describe it), which is definitely a personal preference. It's a shame Apple ditched leather!

They must have insane profit margins on the braided loop. Must be over 95% margin.
I think they consider themselves a designer brand when it comes to watch bands
Best video out there that concisely covers watch bands with the info you need to know.. Thanks!!
Thanks, Beth!

Sport band, Does it have a coating that makes it feel soft that usually gets worn down after a period of time or rinsing in the sink?

Yeah, the stickiness of the velcro doesn't seem to last very long with the knockoffs.
Thanks! What size of your wrist? Are you using 41mm?
Yeah, 41mm in this video. I'd say I have pretty normal wrist size. 5'11", 170lbs if that helps.
