Honestly the solotica doesnt look natural at all. For me it isnt the bug eye thing you described, its the little dots on the colour that make you look like some sci fi creature and i think anyone that pays attention to the eue see that’s so fake. I liked the first brand you showed better

I agree with you and your reviews are always very accurate. To this list I would add creamy gray from Color CL, they blend very well with the eyes and have a dark lavanda blue that looks gorgeous. About aquamarine it's true they have a great pupilas hole, but the color is very fake, during the day I don't wear them, but at night they look great.
I have dark eyes and was wondering if anyone else knew if the ColorCl Halo Sky Blue still has no bug eye effect and looks realistic because I was looking at recent reviews and they state that it does have a big eye effect and doesn't look as natural. PLEASE HELP! I really want blue contacts.
Little late reply but I think overall the halo blue is a very potent blue so it can look fake depending on the eye color. Even on her you can tell a little bit by the strong pigment. So could go both ways natural-wise but because of the bordering-on unnatural color, if you want completely undetectable ones I would go with the iris blue version (basically the more natural version of it)

I just purchased iris blue, the lenses are really inconfortable and blurry. The blue is not an intense blues also. I really didnt like it. I'll ask for a refund.
I actually find the bug-eye effect is more when the contacts have a mixture of colors and the lighter color near the pupil makes the eyes look like theyr protruding/buggy. The fresh look colorblends are a good example. Contacts with a more solid color/similar color family tend to look more realistic I think these are SUBTLE but not natural. Most natural blue eyes are lighter /brighter because they have a lack of melanin. I personally prefer the tiny pupil because it covers all the brown.
I got desio attitude bi tone, super small pupil holes, but they look extremely fake, like you are wearing stickers... I don't like them, it's a waste of money. @@Ayo-Joyce I’ve tried those ones, I don’t like the limbal ring and the overall design of the iris is too light near the limbal ring which can give that sticker/bulgy look. I don’t like when the pupil is big because my natural eye color is a reddish dark brown and the red tone just looks unnatural next to the green lens. Naturally green eyes will have a more yellow/golden brown if there is brown in it. Same for blue eyes. The “blend” is usually strokes (which look too uniform) or the pupil is big and looks harsh I like the tight pupil hole because when you take pics with flash it looks very realistic as the flash will typically cause the pupil to constrict whereas with a larger pupil hole you’ll see more of the natural eye color in flash photography

Desio are comfortable but not realistic, also bad quality, they got broken on my eyes suddenly in the second day I used them and they supposed to last 3 months. If you don't want to spend a lot, Color CL are really good.

Most of the colours and close ups usually look dark and greyish no matter what colour lenses you portray. I’m sorry to tell you this because I know you put so much effort into it. What is the difference between siesta crystal halo gray and [asian fit] halo gray ??? There are some Asian fit lenses and some called siesta crystal in the halo line. What is the difference?

the MOST dramatic that I can get away with is the Halo Sky from ColorCL, or the Amazonia Green or Rio Buzio from Solotica. If I go too bright, it just looks fake on me. If you have darker eyes than mine, you can get away with a lot more pigment

If you have light brown eyes it will look like a caramel. Don’t even bother with lolite

It might be your phone. Try watching on a computer you'll see the colors.

the pupil hole is larger for the asian fit line, so if you have larger pupils stick with asian fit otherwise just purchase the regular crystal line

I can wear both :) My eyes aren't sensitive so I can handle the yearly lenses. Most of the lenses I wear however are the six month lenses

Does ColorCl Sahara line have the bug eye effect?
I wouldn't recommend it if you have medium brown eyes, if you have dark brown eyes you can probably pull that line off

I have that line, but I wouldn't recommend it, it doesn't look natural, I prefer the line called "creamy".

That line didn't suit my dark brown eyes at all, and the coloring has too much texture to appear realistic in my opinion.
