The reason I'm not too nervous for KD is simply because most of the players that couldn't quite recover to where they once were after their Achilles rupture, were all successful for either their athleticism or speed. KD is so tall with such a pure shot that he won't ever struggle getting his shot off. He might not be as good on the break but in the half-court setting I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be comparable to his former self.

update (1/30/2021): -Zion's averaging 23.8 point and 7.6 rebounds on 33 minutes of action, his Pelicans are 7-10 and currently 14th best team in the west. Last season, in which he was mostly injured, they finished 30-42 and were 13th see. We are still waiting for them to make a serious "BOOM". -Westbrook and James Harden, in 2020 season, had their ups and downs, both were playing good in the regular season, as always. They finished the season with 44-28 record and were the 4th seed in the west. Russell recived an injury at the end of the season but came back in the playoffs and he didnt play near as well as in the regular season (18pts, 7reb, 4.6 ast on 42-24-53 shooting splits), they were bounced by the Lakers in the second round. After the playoffs Westbrook was traded to the Wizards for John Wall and some picks and currently they are the worst team in the NBA with 3-12 record and Westbrook is playing some of the worst basketball he's ever played, averaging 19,9,9 on 39% shooting and 33% from 3. -KD missed 2020 season due to the ACL injury, but he came back this season and is playing the best basketball of his career. He's averaging 30.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists on 52-45-86 shooting splits and his Nets are currently 13-8 and the 2nd seed in the east. He is in a serious MVP conversation and it also helps that the Nets traded for James Harden. They now have 3 superstars and are a seroius title contender. -Warriors in the 2020 season were the worst team in the NBA with the record of 15-50, due to injury to Klay and Curry, they recived the 2nd pick and picked James Wiseman. This season Curry is back, but unfortunetly Klay reinjured himself, he recived another ACL injury and currently Curry is playing excellently, he's averaging 28 pts 5 reb and 6 ast on 45-40-92 splits, they are now 10-9 and in playoff contention as they are currently the 9th seed in the west. -LeBron James, in the 2020 season, won his 4th championship, finished second in the MVP voting, but established himself as the best player in the NBA in his 17th season. Lakers, as a whole, had a dominant playoff run, behind MVP level play from LBJ and AD. LeBron also recived his 4th Finals MVP as he averaged 30pts 12 boards and 8 assists on 57% shooting from the field, it was truly a great season for him. He also led the league in assists. Now in his 18th year he is in MVP conversation once again, his Lakers are the 3rd seed in the west with 14-6 record. He is averaging 25.5 pts, 7.8 reb, 7.5 ast on 50-42-70 shooting splits, he improved his 3pt shooting a lot this season and is on pace to have the biggest percentage of his career, they are still also in the Title contention and will try as hard as they can to repeat.
Monkì no he didn’t, Magic Johnson has the distinction easily. And even if he did it still doesn’t matter. There were players that were amazing all through the 90’s. Tim Duncan was in no sense of the word dominant throughout the 90’s. He was the most dominant player in the 2000’s for sure, don’t get me wrong I am not a Duncan hater. I have him as the greatest PF ever and the 7th best player ever. But we don’t have to make stuff up to talk about his greatness. Even saying he was dominant in the 2010’s is a stretch. He barely played in more than half of the decade. I really think you don’t understand the word dominant. Dominant doesn’t just mean really good. It means arguably the best player. You can’t argue Duncan was arguably the best player of the 90’s or the 10’s.
So far 1. Zion is injury prone 2. Westbrook fell off 3. Durant still can’t win without GSW 4. Warriors are 2022 champs 5. LeBron proved once again in 2020 why he’s the king
ehh, highly doubt it. nuggets (the team they got first round outted by), jazz, lakers, clippers, rockets, and the warriors are all gonna be a problem come playoffs. unless the spurs get a heavy rework, I can't see them even making the western conference finals, let alone win another chip.
What were the storylines going into the 2010s Can LeBron win a Ring LeBron legacy as an all time great The Future of the young 3 OKC Thunder What about going into the 2000s Who will be the face of the NBA after Jordan How good and how long will the Lakers last How far can the young talent in the NBA go Can Shaq become the goat
These nba 2010s vids are the best! The fact that we are looking back at the decade already is crazy to me but this was the decade that I started watching the nba so it will no doubt be the one where I had the most fond memories watching.
Number 0: Vince Carter retiring after playing in 4 different decades (90's, 00's, 2010's, 2020's). He never got a title but it goes to show how far a superstar can get if he accepts lower roles/minutes, just to keep playing the game he loves.
I like Zion but we only remember positive of people we like don't we We remember him treating Knox like a child but we don't when Robinson blocked his shot so easily like a child throw
I think whatever happens with Giannis is going to have a huge impact on the league. It would be another big blow to a small market team if he leaves Milwaukee.
I saw a reddit post about kd's injury saying that he unlike others who had the same injury was that he didnt have it in his dominant foot with the only other person being dominique wilkins . I think it isnt as bad as people think it is plus the fact that he doesnt rely on athleticism as much as other players.
idk where im going with this but i think the some of the NBA franchises that were good in the 2000's will be good again. like Kings, Lakers, Mavs, Suns, Nets, Heat, etc.
The one and done rule The rise of international leagues as a valid option yo not go to college What will it take for curry to pass magic Johnson as the best point guard in history When are they gonna bring back hand checking
So, LeBron has already a case for the GOAT ... No. What happened in Miami, 2/4 specially with the 2011 FInals has not been deleted by his amazing 2016 Finals. And last year has not change the deal. He's still amazing on offense, but on defense, he's hidding since he left Miami. So again, no case.

For me, I'm watching how LeBron finishes his career. I think his case for GOAT, while unattainable, gets better when you consider how dominant he was for so long. His ring count isn't as high as it needs to be to close that gap, so I think he needs one more at least, but he needs to remain healthy enough to play at a high level for at least two or three more years. When you mentioned Kevin Durant's injury, honestly, losing him to an Achilles tear would be sad. Someone commented earlier that Curry would also be retiring this decade, which is a shame, because I was finally getting used to players like Durant and Curry at the top. And that's what makes LeBron's run so special.
6 Trae Luka rivalry 5 Zion 4 Westbrook Harden proving their doubters Wrong/Right 3 How high are Kawhi And KD on the all time Great List(and for the rest of 2010s Superstars to a lesser extent) 2 Does Giannis Surpass Dirk as the best European Player of all time (and can he be the best International player of all time ?) 1 Clippers Lakers Rivalry
The thing about Durant is that he tore his non dominant Achilles, meaning his right leg, and the only other player in that situation was Dominique Wilkins, so...
KD just gonna be Dirk Nowitzki 2.0 and he already has been toning down using his athleticisism before he got injured thats why he doesnt dunk often and shoots a lot of jumpers.
Zions weight is a problem but hopefully he can be like shaq where it starts to affect him in like his 10th season in the NBA assuming he gets hurt but we obviously don't want that
Another storyline I am looking at is PG's. He left Indiana to go to what looked like a better situation in OKC with Russ. He left a lot of things unproven. Remember, at more than one point in the 2010's he was looked at as an almost a MVP level player and never really got to that next step except for a lot of last year, until he messed up his shoulder. I'm eager to see what he does with Kawhi, now that he is with a much different team and a player like Kawhi, who is really unselfish.
Some Honorable Mentions include: Will Giannis and the Bucks ascend and grab the championship? Will Simmons and Embiid’s fit work with the Sixers? Will Kawhi and PG win that elusive championship for the clippers?

The big problem for the Warriors is defense.
Wilkins and Durant have one thing in common, they both tore their Achilles in their non-dominate leg.
Wilkins and Durant were only ones that torn their non-dominant legs ACL, so I'd say he has a much better chance to come back.

Don't worry Bron got like 4 or 5 more years left before he retires
If MJ Is the G.O.A.T then I’ll get pinned
Warriors in the playoffs this year. Very funny
When Dom uploads its a good day
I’m excited for the rise of Zach Lavine, Trae Young and Luka/KP and Booker/Ayton
Wiggins
loubenson Norelus Hmmm hopefully
Another storyline I am looking at is PG's. He left Indiana to go to what looked like a better situation in OKC with Russ. He left a lot of things unproven. Remember, at more than one point in the 2010's he was looked at as an almost a MVP level player and never really got to that next step except for a lot of last year, until he messed up his shoulder. I'm eager to see what he does with Kawhi, now that he is with a much different team and a player like Kawhi, who is really unselfish.
No luka???
I'm definitely looking forward to the Warriors
btw nice link between points, cool stuff
What about what will happen with Kawhi???
3 months later.. the warriors are dead
The knicks and whether they find a way out of the basement or stay for yet another decade
Y brons beard looked photoshopped lol
Some Honorable Mentions include:
Will Giannis and the Bucks ascend and grab the championship?
Will Simmons and Embiid’s fit work with the Sixers?
Will Kawhi and PG win that elusive championship for the clippers?
The bucks are going to win the championship at some point but not this year that's for sure
Kawhi and PG will get a championship in 2-3 years
Great video as usual but i think we Can also add James harden and if he will be able to prove that he's not a choker when it matters the most
I'm starting to think he isn't a choker, other teams just pay him to throw it.
Giannis the face of the league
love the new style, no more copyright claims lol
What happened to San Andreas?
That Durant part was very sad
i really don’t vibe with the 20 second intro on every video anymore
darell burgers I just skip it
