    The problem with Caitlin Clark is not Caitlin Clark, it is the media pushing her narrative and not sharing the love. In all of her interviews, Caitlin has given her teammates flowers upon flowers. She has repeatedly expressed her admiration for vets. She has thrown water on every reporter who was there to fan flames with non-basketball questions. You can't blame/hate Caitlin Clark for what the media has or has not done.

    • @BeautifulAfroWoman
      @BeautifulAfroWoman Місяць тому

      ABSOLUTELY! Clark cannot do anything else but to play her game. If they're going to hate her then so be it. The haters know she's great. They're just jealous because a white girl can take their ridiculous mauling and she's better than them.

    Satou is a class act as a person and as a player. I would love to see her play with Caitlin. I would be curious to hear her comments on CC's game after the break since this was done 3 months ago. I think it's a strong argument that after the Olympic break, she didn't play like a rookie.

Show has good things to say about them, so others/fans can see what she is talking about, and learn to like those other players/their game. There is a video out there of Clark trying to get more money for players. People forget Clark brought a team that didn’t have 4/5 star recruits to the NCAA championship game 2 times. The other teams were full of 4/5 star recruits. I wish you the best, keep balling!

    Stewart played with 18 future WNBA players. Caitlin played with 1. If Stewart hadn't won, it would be embarrassing. Caitlin getting Iowa, a team that has never done anything to the championship game twice is even bigger than Stewart winning it 4 times. Championships are won by great teams, not 1 individual. CC is the goat. There is nothing exciting to watch if Caitlins not playing. It's just basketball. Reese and Cardosa increased attendance by 1400 in one of the largestcitiesin the country. Caitlin increased attendance by 13,000 in Indiana and road attendance by 7500. Reese is barely in the conversation for the new fans

    Quite well spoken sensible and with intelligent answers, and very easy on the eye, but at 45.32 asked the “dumb/bigoted” question.
    “Why do certain players get endorsement deals”
    There is a very simple answer to this question, and it will be the same answer ad infinitum.
    The company paying the endorsement fee reckons they will make money by the association, it is as simple as that.
    If you have a company that manufactures traffic cones or maybe building supplies then Reese may get endorsements, as when she is not throwing up bricks then rebounding her own misses she is a bit of a slow moving road block. And if double doubles started at 20 points she would have maybe half a dozen. And then only just scraping through.
    Clark’s signature balls, GONE!!! shelves are empty, Wilson’s signature ball still gathering dust.
    And do not even begin to go down the skin colour road, as countless thousands of white BASKETBALL lovers bought and have Magic, Jordan, Iverson, etc. etc. shirts. The very same as Clarks shirts being bought by NONE BIGOTED people of all colours. So the white privilege thing is shite, it's simply an excuse for limited ability.

Aja can’t be guarded it seems but she’s not super exciting and people love Caitlyn because she’s the most humble player in any sport and she has fun in a goofy way so she’s more relatable. No one else’s personalities show like CC and no other wnba player carries themselves like her. Nothing to do with race. Kelsey Mitchell is turning into the 2nd most popular player. Be goofy, funny or something relatable and be exciting on the court and you’ll get a following. Bird stood out for his trash talking. Magic for the flashy plays. Caitlyn is a mix of that along with an insane range. Stewie Aja etc don’t take risks and they’re not flashy. Scoring doesn’t always translate to exciting

    Crazy I got to see D.Rose my first nba game …. Became a fan instantly! He led the comeback against us (Spurs) with a inbound coast to coast dunk with like 21 seconds onthe shot clock and turned the momentum! I shed a tear after his 50 point game post game interview 😅

    Candice Parker did win MVP as a rookie, but, don’t leave out how. The fans had a say that year in the balloting. Imagine if fans had a say in 2024, do you think anyone would be MVP except Caitlin? If so, go back to the All Star balloting, and look at the numbers. When you make a point, try to know the true story.

    im going to add that its also foul to say "Stewie won 4 in a row while CC won nothing"
    well ... no ish...
    Stewie had multiple wnba teammates in these teams over that 4 years... like over 10 of em. MULTIPLE. CC had a single kate martin.
