Amazing Mud Banks and Dykes along the Cornwallis River at Low Tide on the Minas Basin | Cinematic 4K

- Here is my aerial video, set to relaxing music, exploring the area along the Cornwallis River and the Grand Pré Dyke with my camera drone. This river flows into the Minas Basin that connects to the Bay of Fundy, which as some of the highest tides in the world. The tidal waters flow a considerable distance up the river. We were there at low tide that exposed the red mud banks and flats along the river. My wife and I hiked along the river on the top of the Grand Pré Dyke, which was built by early settlers to create adjacent dykelands for farming along the river and keep it from flooding.
Our hike started by the bridge over the Cornwallis River at Port Williams, Nova Scotia, and continued along the dyke towards the mouth of the river. See more information about the trail at www.alltrails....

Thank you very much, my good friend. Yes, it is amazing how far the tide recedes up the river. The adjacent Minas Basin and Bay of Fundy have some of the highest tides in the world. For comparison I should try to get some views at high tides and show the comparisons, side by side in one video.
