Hi Kaizen, most of people in Türkiye are Muslim but Türkiye is not a Islamic country. Our country does not have any religion. In Turkiye we have Christian, Jewish people also.
Turkiye contains mostly Muslim people yes you are right but it does not show country has a religion. In our fundamental law, we have 3 articles are not possible to change or vote to change. In these articles at the second one before 10 April 1928 it was written "The religion of the country is Islam". But 10 April 1928 we remove this. It means our country does not represant any religious opinion. @@MariaKaiz
@@MariaKaizTurkish people are not 90% + Muslim. I would say 70% are culturally Muslim but not practicing whatsoever. There’s a lot of aethists and agnostics. It’s not common to come across Muslims who actually practice the religion rather than just being Muslim by name.
Since 2016, for my job, I have been going to Turkey and staying for a few months. What I see; Whether it is a woman or a man; They are compassionate people, extremely emotional, very active, very talkative, the "we" culture is extremely strong and they are very angry :) Fists are really clenched at the slightest thing :) I asked why several times. As far as I understand, this is something that life conditions have ingrained into the characters over time. The important thing here is; No matter where you are in the world, arguments may arise between men and women. If that person's language is hurtful during that discussion, I say stay away from that person :) If not, that's life anyway. It has its ups and downs. If you always respect each other, you can overcome many things.
Sushmita: watching Turkish Series (many are based on true stories) is an 'Eye-Opener' for those of you wanting to know more regarding different characters ie. male & female, families, rich & poor etc... AND even the country itself 🇹🇷 ON A POSITIVE NOTE: Turkiye should be on everyone's BUCKET LIST 🎉 the only continent in the 🌎 where you can be in Europe and visit the East AND West simultaneously... absolutely mesmerizing ❤ ❤
Sushmita: LOVE LOVE Turkiye 🇹🇷 Was on a 'group tour' last year September 2023... visited 8 x different cities and booked to experience the iconic tours eg Hot Air Baloon🔥 Bospherus Safari Dervishes etc... Turkiye is secular and I agree with the laws esp. Men CANNOT have more than 1 Wife 👌 😀 👍 😄 awesome 👏 You are a beautiful Philipino woman... love your videos 📹 ✨️

Thanks Ahmet. But when I googled it before, it says Turkey is predominantly Islamic country, where up to 99% of Turks are Muslim.

Hello. You can only apply for Turkish e-visa if your Schengen visa is still valid. If it's already expired, then you cannot apply.
