Who was this mapped by and what turbo(like BBT 300 or 280)? I'm looking to go the same setup on a MK4 Ibiza
Justin_ it was a beachbuggy unit but a one off (it was similar spec to a k280) but if i was you i would go for a k300.
mapped by cctuning in burton but i would also recommend TRP developments (did my latest map)
Oh right I'm sure I seen it on their website on FB the other day, was it 250bhp from like 2k revs?
Justin_ wouldnt suprise me. awesome spool and a good power range. k300 are known to make 310+ on a good flowing setup! they are a very very good turbo
I mean I've see yours (or an identical lookalike) 248bhp from 3400 -7000k revs on their Facebook

Justin_ yeah wasnt mine i dont think. theres a vid of mine doing 50 to about 130 and you can see how it holds power from low rev to redline..

This setup was using 386cc injectors with a sytec fuel pump, a k03 hybrid (basically a k300 from BBT) and all the supporting mods 🙂

Best was a 13.0 @ 108mph
Never got a proper run with the bigger turbo!

My bro is about to buy a fully forged mk3 ibiza and I think it's running 320-330 so if this is 290 I dont even know how fast 330 will be
320 in one of these would be perfect! I ended up at 390 with an aggresive map and it was very sketchy haha.

And what did you have to do to get it to 390 and is it reliable
@@perri.h1258 Was reliable mate yes, was aiming for 450+ but never got finished.
Had a OD GTX2860 with all supporting mods but the injecters were too small (hence only making 390). Had nitrous too but never got it plumbed in.

James Lockley ive got a k300 on a mk4 golf Agu. Also got a 3076r on a mk2 cupra R and think you'd beat them both

Probs beat the golf mate but not sure about the gt30.. all depends on power to weight really. This weighs around 1000kg giving it (at the time) approx 270-280bhp per ton. It would probs be close up to 100mph but then you would sail past waving! haha
James Lockley both my cars have full interior no weight saving. You've definitely got the edge with better power to weight ratio. Looking forward to seeing your ibiza with the new turbo on. What power is it now making?

@@jlocks90 oh man no way, what you driving now? mine has been off the road for 8 years! shocking but now going to save up some money and get it all fixed up and back on the road for summer. This one in the video looked perfect, what power did it have at its peak? Rare cars nowadays lol

Stage 2 335d atm as i travel 30k miles a year for work! Id love to get another! It was a smidge under 400 at its peak but it wasnt complete. Had bigger injectors, wmi and nitrous to install but never got round to it!

@@jlocks90 Yeah man they dont come up for sale much lol Stage2 335d sounds nice though, not a bad way to travel 30k a year mate 👍 Just under 400 😲 thats nuts mate lol love the vid, looks quick AF, with the other mods and nitrous, well that'd of been off the scale crazy mate lol I passed my driving test in 2011, kept looking on the usual sites for a car, saw the biza for sale and fell in love with it lol travelled by train some 200 miles away to go get it, got insured and drove it back home lol its silver, and the only mods it had was the alloys (look like rota grids but not them lol) a dump valve and was slammed on adjustables. I then put a decat on it, straight through powerflow system and it was all good until the day of the MOT i started it up and it sounded horrible and there was white paste coming out of the exhaust! Been off the road since, had new cambelt, waterpump kit put on, new head gasket, head skimmed and valves reset. Its still kind of in bits so will get a better turbo on it, the ko3s route and get the intercooler and get it mapped i guess? Its good to talk to someone who knows their stuff about these cars, can you give me any advice please mate lol?
