His friend already at home when he finish
His friends already at the hospital before he's done
Imagine his friends are all fish 😅
They will think that he is dead 😂
His friends are most likely other free divers. They practice individually and are safeties for the individual holding their breath.
The reason most people can only hold their breath from 8-15 seconds is due to oxygenation and tolerance of the blood and brain. Different pranayama yogic breathing techniques are used and practiced regularly to enlarge the liver, increase tolerance to lack of oxygen and higher carbon dioxide levels and learn to still the mind.
There are even higher practices and feats that can be performed. All breathing practices you are ready for can be found in guidance of a teacher. ALWAYS consult a high level practitioner.
True yoga is the complete science of the mind, body, soul, earth and space.
Lastly... Siddhis, aka powers, are wonderful but not the goal of Yoga, aka Union with God/Atma/Source of all Creation and Consciousness, but merely abilities that transpire on the path or are given by Grace and taken again when no longer needed. Our ultimate goal with Yoga and life is to play our part in the divine play, become Aware of the Self, and focus our minds on gratitude and God. At that point all powers are attained never to be taken but never to be used frivolously.
His captor: ok he’s dead after 2 mins under water
Him: it was such a peaceful day today I love the sound of my heart
I mean, I can currently manage 2 minutes no breath. The average is 30 secs-90 secs. So most SMART people drowning others usually keep them under for at least 4-5 minutes, longer if no thrashing has happened yet.
In 24 minutes i could die 24 times 😂😂

@@Kioki1-x8p Spoke the doctor on UA-cam.
check Mammalian Diving Reflex. this only works in cold water which is what hes using pure oxgen-practice+cold water to slow down heart rate
This is actually a very strong Guinness Record! Respect to this guy!
Yes
This is an oxygen aided breath holding record. The last breaths he takes from the tank contains pure oxygen (still so impressive and not making this record less valuable). World record w/o oxygen aid is around 11.5 minutes.
Breathing pure oxygen sets off a series of runaway chemical reactions. That’s when some of that oxygen turns into its dangerous and unstable cousin called a radical. Oxygen radicals harm the fats, protein and DNA in your body. This damages your eyes and your lungs.
So breathing pure oxygen is quite dangerous.
I'd say it's also entirely possible that he pressurizes his lungs to like 2BAR of pressure from the tank as well. There's a freediver that has a technique of doing it without a tank.
Thanks for clarifying
Uhhhh David Blaine?
Can you tell me who has currently world record without oxygen aid? I can't find it..

Hold your breath as long as you can timed of course then breathe pure oxygen for 10 minutes and go hold your breathe. Won't be this guy, but you'll be above the rest of us. FACTS
@@crazycat7678 I dont think doing panick would help him
I literally took a nap and woke up while watching this video and this man was holding his breath the entire time lmao
That’s hilarious
I was a competitive swimmer and diver for many years, and I could swim 50 m underwater without taking a breath. By the time I was done, my lungs were on fire. What this guys doing here is amazing!
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
no
I feel like I'm running out of breath just watching this
By the time i write this, that man could've hold his breath since the video was uploaded
When I was a teen, I could hold my breath for five minutes sitting still and I could swim two laps underwater (25 meters each way). One time, after swimming two laps underwater a few times in a row, I decided to go for more. I made it about half way into a third lap, when I came up, took a breath, and immediately passed out. Fortunately my friend pulled me back up and I regained consciousness, having no idea I had passed out. I stopped trying to see how long I could hold my breath after that. There's no reason to push holding your breath under water when you are much safer just holding you breath while laying in bed.
Mine was 4 mini and I think 3 seconds
There is something called the divers reflex, that's why world records are always done in water
Mine was 2:17.. I would take deep breathes, go under just floating like Sabat, I'd recite the lyrics to a song I knew by heart then eventually my mind would wonder from temptation to breathe.. as I I didn't even need to.. it really was a trippy experience for me
Really 😮
Mine was 1min and 45secs
The navy can use this man positively 💪

Mine is 15 seconds u jerks
35 seconds
mine 1:33min
2 in atmosphere, almost 3 underwater. Of course, that's all standing still. Any physical activity and it goes down by like 15 times. Underwater my body doesn't feel safe being starved of oxygen, obviously, so I'm able to slow down my heart rate and focus. Plus, it's quiet.
I won a contest in holding my breath under water for 2m:02sec , seeing this is just mind blowing!
I can do 1:27 nd I'm a smoker is that avg?

@@darkmvz6186 exactly
I get the joke but i dont think thats how it works he hold his breath that long from making his heart beat less so he needs less oxygen he does this by relaxing. So by that logic if he does a rap that fast his hesrt will go up so he uses more oxygen to breath.
@@imvrysad7315 but this guy has trained his lunges for 8 years. So he can rap much longer than eninem
25 minutes!! This guy can cross the red sea in one breath.

I guess voluntarily as in "not breath holding for survival"
Training for 3 years, "just" to beat a world record of your own.
That is some real dedication.
But how enthusiastic his competitors could be to see that he might've reached his limits and so they have a chance to beat him.
The people that were standing next to him while he was holding his breath must have been wondering if they were supposed to take him out in case he went unconscious 😂

But 24 minutes, I don't even know how that's humanly possible.
Me after holding my breath for 10 seconds jesus im coming for u😂

Not many of us usually think about it that long, but there is a huge amount of information given out to all living people even to their competitors.
It could be a key thing what you do to be really efficient. There is no way it is easily findable information on your own. And giving that away, when you're actually the best..! Wow, how generous he is!
I thought i was so impressive after holding my breath for 4 mins. Can't believe i actually thought i was something 🤣
That's still impressive
24:56 Hold up, what record is there for holding your breath INVOLUNTARILY?!?!?
Involuntarily means you get unconscious on purpose and just yolo it with someone who spots you for set amount of time. Very dangerous!
I'm super curious as to what his heart rate was especially during the ending 5 minutes
Would be VERY interesting to see
Probably 50 to 40 bpm

As an asthmatic, this obviously bewilders me. He did an incredible job, as did the other two men monitoring him. Very well-performed.
Factual world record, My dad left before I could see life
Great record, but it is necessary to consider that he breaths pure oxygen before it. In air there is only 20% of oxygen. He breaths 100% oxygen before starting and this means that he stores in his lungs 5 times the oxygen we can do breathing normal air. So 25 minutes with 100% oxygen is more or less equal to 5 minutes with air in the lungs. Still a great performance, no doubt.
That's not really how it works. Your lungs never hold onto 100% of the oxygen that you breathe in. I don't know exactly how much advantage breathing pure O2 gives here, but I guarantee it's not 5x. 4 minutes is about the average time a normal person can hold their breath for with limited training (lookup Mike Boyd). I guarantee this guy can outperform that.
@@ReasonMakes well the recorded for non aided is 11 minutes so it's pretty twice the advantage than normal air
@@dawltonburger4039 but the question is, can the person who did the 11 min beat this guy while both of them do the oxygen???
@slicksilver9441 No, they can not. Otherwise, they would attempt and break the record. Recently tried it 5min with oxygen tank and 4min15sec on normal breath. This is pure insanity 😳 length of the video he held his breath and lived crazy
