Great review Penny & Dad- yes, Shake Shack IS expensive, but decent burgers. We don’t go there too often, but when we do it’s yummy. You’re absolutely right, too expensive for a whole meal. I drive to Columbus every Wednesday to visit my son. I watch your reviews to see where we can eat every time we go. Last Wednesday we went to Shake Shack and I had the Carolina BBQ Burger and a peaches and cream shake. I didn't care too much for the burger, the shake was all right but I'll tell you everything is very overpriced in that place! Between the wifey and I, two Carolina bbq burgers, two shakes and we shared some cheese and bacon fries our bill came to $42 and change. 2

Your burger is 11.39 on uber eats then you have the fees and tip ugh . We had to take a break from eating out because everything is crazy .I think I'd like to have that other burger but with fried pickles on it . Have a good one .
If I am going to buy an expensive burger I'll go to Freddy's. At least there I think you get a double for $9.00. I would like that sandwich with cheddar cheese, pickle, onion, EXTRA CRISPY BACON and extra sauce :D I could tell Penny loved the sauce instantly lol
This Shake Shack burger looks good with the fried pickles. Lately I have been getting my burger fix at my local diner that has a better quality burger for about the same price. Great video today.
Yes some of these local diners are making better or just as good burgers for about the some price. We have a local place I've been hearing about that make awesome smash burgers or so I've hear. We need to try them sometime.
This one was VERY interesting for me Penny. I personally think Shake shack is just ridiculously overpriced. I think their food is good, but not better than Culver's and literally double the price for a smaller burger! On Sunday on their app they were running a promotion for a free chicken sandwich if you bought a burger. So I did that in Chicago a few weeks ago and got 2 sandwiches for something like 14 dollars - and even with a free sandwich I thought the cost made no sense! However you dad loved his sandwich so much!! So it teaches me that value is in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for another great show.

Every restaurant went up in price, the cost went up. Get used to it, and sorry, it's not going to go down. But if u share and full for 20$ that's good. Just my two cents
I can't stand Shake Shack. We tried them at the airport one year, and the food was absolutely terrible. And the price - was very expensive. I would never recommend them to anyone I know. Food was dry, lettuce rotten, bun hard and dry. Meat was skimpy and burnt. Just awful. Definitely NOT recommended. Never again. I learn after the first time. A real rip-off.
You may want to try a non-airport location because they are able to provide low standards and high prices to people who are vulnerable / hungry and don’t have many options.
