Hi Sam Great video I just purchased this flight controller and I purchased the F411, I was going to install it on my AR Wing, I'm not sure if I am going to do long range or not but I thought it would be a good learning experience and if I decide to go with a bigger wing with GPS and return to home I will be able to make it work easyer. Thanks again for the information.
Thank you for posting a great f405 matek wing video. I was wondering if you could post something to address the GPS wiring so that you can move the GPS between planes. I would like to plug and unplug the gps so that i don't have to buy more GPS's. I have the Beitian 880 GPS which works great and want to move around my models.
That looks like what I'm looking for. I'm thinking about building a scale biplane and flying it FPV with pan & tilt on the camera.
I've tried it with a Bormatec drone, but without airspeed and altitude indicator it was not as chilling, as I expected 😀 (as a former pilot)

So how could this FC be used with a quad with only 2 ESC pads? i have one of these and would love to use it on a quad build with Ardupilot.
Glue the USB port. It is very weak. I broke mine at second use and other people complain about it.

your old subscriber here. just needed some advise with the bridging for the vtx, i am using a TBS unify pro so should i bridge the 12v pad for the vtx on the Matek board or let it be on default and dont bridge anything?

Looks fantastic, dude! I'm more interested in the smaller one right now, for a small wing I'm going to make. But that bigger one should be great for a bigger airplane I think about making, but that would be using a gasoline motor, not an electric one... So... The throttle would be controlled by a servo. Do you think I would be able to use that board?

Not this same board, but a newer board - the F765 - has two camera inputs, a few more PWM/servo outputs, and a few other changes/upgrades.

I search the Pin for Real Pit in the Resource Mapping but the resource are different to this wath i know. Can anybody help me. actually i take RX2 for it (PPM Pin) but i don't find it in the resource mapping
If I use this board with a Crossfire nano, do I have to provide the rssi seperate or is it includet in the tx/rx connection?
There is another firmware you can also use on this board. I think it was Ardupilot?
Hey there. I watch a lot of your content and I was hoping you could help me out with my Matek 405 flight controller for my rc plane. I have an ESC with a white, red, and black wire, and in that same bundle is a yellow wire. Im assuming I just cut the yellow and red wire and only have white and black wires onto my FC. I am worried ill bypass my BEC on the ESC if i dont use the yellow wire but maybe that is alright. My second question is can you use 26awg gauge solid coper wire for soddering? Or should I cut up servo wires and use them instead? IM trying to run my 3 video camera and VTX wires from the tail of my plane to the FC in the middle of the plane. Any tips or solutions would be appreciated greatly, Thanks in advance

Thanks for video very informative, while soldering pins to my f405-wing for gps with build in compass I think I damaged tx4 and rx4 I can see no trace going to either port, is it possible to use tx6 and rx6 instead and everything still work? Thanks again
At minimum, you would have to set it up in INAV/APM, but it will *probably* work...
will you do the the flysky gimbal upgrade to the taranis m7 or m9 gimbal ?

This FC is great for a bigger build that would use HV servos. No compass?
Most GPS units include a compass, they are not usually on a FC.
