@@Trinity_Exotics awwww of course!! Goes without being said, we gotta give credit where it’s due! Am looking forward to more content from you my friend! 😁
I used to have those same fire belly toads and they were awesome. I also had some salamanders with the same pattern on there belly they lived together quite well.
I would say use your best judgement and go off of sizes compared to some of the species on this list. My girlfriend keeps common American tree frogs in a 10 Gallon just fine :)
I would say it depends on how big the Pac-Man frog will get if it says average size I would say a 10 gallon is fine but if it gets larger than normal, I would say 15 to 20 gallons whatever size tank you use make sure to have enough substrate for them to borrow into
I honestly agree but I left them in there because of the tiny species that can. I had 3 sources that said 10 gallons but even then I still was iffy about that info. Thank you for the insight I appreciate the feedback!
Dart frogs besides thumbnails (ranitomeyas) are too big for a 10 gallon. I’d recommend 20gal minimum for most species, and *plenty* of leaf litter Aside from that, very underrated pets. I love mine
Ya that’s why i mentioned that in the video I wish there were more species that could be kept in 10 gallons, but I think it’s also nice to have a larger enclosure they end up being more beautiful anyways
Be careful do your research about your states legalization animals and if youre renting make sure if your landlord is ok with it because certain animals are illegal in certain states like the axo its illegal in California and some states require a permit
@@johnh2463 I hope you know that certain landlords do house check ups and my apt would sometimes have house inspection and that's when I was hit with a illegal pet frogs because I raise dart frogs and my manager and her manager didn't know anything about dart frogs being legal in the US and that's why I said what I said that's an experience coming from someone who had to go through almost giving my frogs up because I didn't let the landlord know that I was about to keep exotic animals
I’ve kept fish for 15 years and would love to try my first paludarium with a fire belly toad, and some mollys in the water. Good video man
They have such cool colors! And thank you!
Just found your channel today. I love frogs.
I love Frogs too!
I hit that subscribe button after just a minute! Love your channel, I’d definitely like to see your take on a Paludarium!

Definitely I’m going to push way more out this year!!

I’ve always wanted to own some salamanders or newts! Possibly in my future plans this year 👀
I found them they're called firebelly newts. and goodluck if you do it'd be cool if you showed them to us.@@Trinity_Exotics
Great video. Thanks! Dart frogs are the best! Haha
Thank you! They are!
this was an awsome video keep it up❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! I'm working on a second video for this topic!
No. Axolotls can reach 10". 10gal tanks are too small for these big salamanders.
I figured. Saw some well known keepers say 10 so I said 10. Thanks for the correction
Are the African dwarf frogs amphibious I have never seen them out of the water?
I guess they’re not amphibian huh. I put it in there because it’s still classified as an amphibian but it’s fully aquatic.
Can you keep common toads or common frogs in a ten gallon?
I would say use your best judgement and go off of sizes compared to some of the species on this list. My girlfriend keeps common American tree frogs in a 10 Gallon just fine :)
Don't grab animals in the wild ! Some are protected/endangered species
So if i want to keep pac man frog do i need to have at least 15 gallons tank? But they don't move very often?

I have three Pacman frogs. I personally keep them in twenty gallons.
Imo dart frogs need a 18x18x24 minimum but nice vid anyway

Appreciate your transparency, rare trait nowadays 😂
Hey so is it okay to put isopods and springtails in the enclosure??
Yes absolutely :)

Yikes..axolotls won't be happy with just 10 gallons. They need a lot of room to roam around.
I figured but surprisingly many well know reptile enthusiasts would say 10 is fine. Guess I got this one wrong
@@Trinity_Exotics its ok,no worries 😊 we keep learning new things and how to improve life for our pets.
@@lindadumarwah7341 Yeah, I'd say 40 gal minimum for axolotls

Who tells their landlord “hey btw I’m keeping newts as pets” ☠️

I wouldn’t keep any of these animals in a 10 gallon
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
