When you mentioned sniffing cats - when my daughter was little, she was always burying her face in our cat, Reuben, and I used to say what does he smell of? And she used to say, 'warm and cuddly 🥰
Sounds good, listening to the rain, watching a film, eating some snacks and the sound of the cats sharpening their claws on the new sofa 😂

Hey Iwan, those wall pots were a fab bargain. Maybe some hardy herbs would be good to pot up in them. Some different thymes or marjorams. And use some sandy loam to mix with the potting soil to help retain moisture. You can also buy potting ‘crystals’ which you mix with the potting soils that retain the water.
Oh loved this vlog mr C . You found some amazing treasure at the car boot sale. The pots will look fab on the roof garden or in your kitchen window with herbs in.
I really like the coloured glasses. They will look great in a window or shelf . Also the faux plant looks so realistic. Good in most rooms and outside. I think you did well everything was thought out and you had ideas in mind what you’d do with them.
The towels were bargains and will last years . Especially that colour as it won’t show stains as easily.
Got to mention the kittens. They are adorable and so inquisitive. Enjoy the sofa it looks very comfy and stylish. 😊
You picked up amazing items. Loving those glasses . The towels are defo a bargain!!! The sofa is lovely and suits the space. I used to Bury my face in my cats fur, and she had an almost perfume smell from her. She was so clean. I really miss her ❤
Those coloured glasses are stunning
Your terra cotta pots will look great all together on a wall/fence with geraniums in-they are used to hot weather climates and can tolerate a bit of a dry out ! It’ll look like your in Italy or Spain on your roof garden!
Oh Mr C, you have such a good eye when looking for bargains....Love love love the large plant pot at the beginning and then the massive faux fern hanging basket - I would have definitely taken them home with me. Happy bargain hunting next car boot...x

I have the same glasses, mine are from William Sonoma, called Picardi glasses, made in France. Only clear but two sizes, your juice size and a taller water glass. Have had mine for over 20 years, a classic casual style.

Well done on your car boot finds, love the glasses. When my towels start to get older or go off white, I donate them to the animal shelter. I hate just throwing them away.

That’s an absolute bargain for Penhaligans even used. Plus the mirror 😍 fab quality - I have a mirror obsession which I’m going to have to start selling soon. Great video Mr C.
Love the sofa.if you turn the glasses upside down on your dresser in the kitchen you would see the colors way better and the colors will go with everything,love the white company stuff,you did so well 😊

As a child from 3 years of age thru to 13 yrs of age (I am now 79 years old), I took dance lessons 4 days a week. I took tap, ballet, acrobatics, and at 11 years old started taking pointe and my teacher was getting ready to start me in point tap. But my Father wanted me to play the piano which I hated and wouldn't practice so he stopped all of my dance classes. As the result, I never touched the piano again and I really never forgave him for taking away something that I loved so much. I thought during that time that I wanted to become a professional dancer as an adult. That never happened.
I did the same with ballet, tap and modern. O went x3 times a week, I was offered a scholarship in London at ballet. But at age 11years old I got rheumatoid arthritis so that put a end to that
I love dancing always dancing around the sitting room listening to my favourite songs and also a good way to destress x
Lots of goodies--but I love those Fortnum's pots! (A candle is a great idea for them, but they'd also look great in the bathroom just as containers for small things you need often but don't want to be looking at all the time.) Those towels are great, too.

Along with many others I’m absolutely smitten with the beautiful glasses. Pumpkin and Mittens are so adorably cute and yes I’m also a sniffer 😻 we have 3 cats. Sir Munchalot known as Monty, Kylo and Daisy. What a fantastic haul. You have definitely bagged some bargains! The new sofa is perfectly suited to cosying up on while watching a movie on those rainy nights. Maybe a colourful blanket along with some squishy cushions will add that final touch. And by choosing a neutral colour the skies the limit when it comes to styling. Look forward to seeing the revitalised space. Take care ❤️🩵💜💙🧡💚🩷😊😻

Im on holiday in Salisbury and went to three thrift /charity shops, bought 2 beautiful mirrors, one is vintage that can stand on a chest of drawers and the other one is metal very boho style. Also bought a beautiful throw. The Alabre emporium had the most stunning metal flower pots, basins , buckets etc named the French Selection. Such a pity that I have to fly back home to South Africa or I would spent a fortune on furniture and garden accessories. 😊 The prices were so reasonable even when converted to the South African currency.

As a child, I did tap a d modern dance classes. I loved them and have often thought about adult tap classes.
I love dancing with my brother James as we make up some crazy moves together.

My daughter had two house cats and often snuggle sniffs them. I think it's a comfort thing.
After watching this mammoth carboot haul, I did wonder about the look on your partners face as you come home with it all. 😂

Love the faux plants in the hanging basket. The smell of our two cats and now our daughters new kitten is so gorgeous…every cat parent would agree 😹♥️
Loved all of the garden pots especially the first big one. With those smaller ones you could paint the inside with a product called "Brick seal". It is clear so you won't see it. It will help with holding the water in the pots a bit longer as it stops the water seeping through the terracotta. Also loved the Fortnum and Mason jar- i'm sure you know who will love it-He's all for that sort of thing in his kitchen. 😀😀I like the style of the glasses! You got some fabulous bargains.

I loved the big pot, the mirror, the ceramic jar with lid and the towels. I have bought oversized bath towels and love being able wrap myself all up and have enough towel still to start drying off. You got some fantastic bargains that’s for sure. I was going to ask how you managed to get everything home lol. We don’t have car boot sales here so I really enjoy following along with you as you check out all the treasures.

Hi mr carrington, i always feel good after your videos and seeing you the kittens and what you have been up to. Cant believe you thinking of planting succulents, i literally planted some this week after a sale plant purchase session in home base. Ive planted in an old recycling tub and got some alpine soil already gritted from B & M (bargain reduced to £2 a bag). The guy at home base was a succulent fanatic and showed me how he planted his in an old sink and how to propagate them. He said some grow them successfully in house bricks, so your clay pots will be ideal. I planted mjne with lavender as they have similar care regime - so fingers crossed i am successful.
If I were to guess I think the little pot is for Luke 😊. I love the first big vase you bought and it would look better inside the home. I thought you would buy the kitty bed. You find the best pre loved items, and it's smart to know the price at the store and see the savings. Yes another brilliant car boot video with lovely finds 😊 you did so well they are all fab finds and great prices. Love the terracotta pots they are going to look so good in the roof garden. The new sofa is 👌and great for an extra sleep space and throws definitely needed or the kitties will have a field day.
LOVE the Fortnum and Mason Jar. Personally, being a 'mad quilting and sewing lady' LOL - I would make a pin cushion in the lid, so you would just turn the lid upside down in the pot to use the Pin Cushion part, and keep small scissors, needles, tape measure etc in the pot itself. Then when finished, close the lid as normal - What do you think? ha ha - Many thanks for another great video, I am getting through your videos and loving the content. Thank you so much for all your great ideas, time and of course kitty fixes. My kitty is 3 years old now, so in my eyes still a kitten really. x

Great finds. I use cheap/2nd hand perfumes as room sprays eg spray towels in bathrooms, guest toilet etc and spray on decorative balls in a basket in my laundry.
Get a bar towel hanging for the back of your bathroom door for your towels. I have one in my bathroom, it's great for drying big bath towels.

Hi Mr. C! I can't dance worth anything, but I am a big ballet fan. In my younger days I was fortunate enough to see Rudolf Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov dance a number of times. I even saw Dame Margot Fonteyn as Juliet's mother in one production. It would be fun if you could take a class again. I love that you are so adorable with your kitties. 😊

I loved the coloured glasses, the pots and the hanging basket as well as the cheese pot. To help with water retention in your terracotta pots, use a bit of polystyrene in the base.
Loved your towels especially the bath sheets - a tip to keep them soft, don't use fabric softener as it makes the towels hard and rough.
I have always loved dancing, nothing like hip hop or anything. I grew up with New Wave music, if that gives you any idea. I still love dancing. My niece taught me the wobble at my daughter's wedding, hahaha. I've already done a little bit of "C" shopping. Lots of good finds today! I love the little pots that hang. Wow, they gave you the sofa!? That's awesome! It's really nice! Looks firm, yet springy.

I spotted the cherub big shell bowl which looked very old ..I'm sure it was on a stall with antiques, I liked the Bread crock as well....the coloured glasses are lovely I would of definitely been fighting you over them!🤣 ,The hanging basket is from a company called Blooming Artificial you can buy it for £52 so you got a bargain...lovely sofa and the cuteness when you said Daddy to pumpkin cat that was cuteness overload..they really have the best home!🐱🐱..Thanks for sharing your goodie finds ..❤🙏

Loved that cat bed you saw. And the fake plant was gorgeous. I like dancing especially on holidays with the entertainment teams out there. Our two cats roll over and over showing their bellies when we get up in the morning....they want a bit of attention before breakfast...it's a good sign of happiness and trust 😻,

Getting a bit of a Christmas vibe with this video, think it’s the check shirt which reminds me of Xmas cushion covers, bright glasses which also reminds me of my bright Xmas decks and plus the thought of Xmas DIYs can’t wait to see what you come up with this year.
The glasses are fab and a great buy. I have that brand in clear glass and use them daily. Love seeing the kittens. My kitty is 14 years old and I love smelling her fur around her neck area. Enjoy the new sofa and cuddling with Pumpkin and Mittens.
I love having a movie day/watching UA-cam all snuggled up and cozy on a rainy day! I spotted that mirror right at the beginning of the one it looks very similar, I would die for that mirror exactly my style. I need to hit the boot sales this weekend as I'm on the hunt for something similar and some nice frames as I have re-decorated my hallway in Oxford heritage blue and I want to have the wall covered in mirrors and photos in nice frames! Fingers crossed I get as lucky as you. You grabbed some amazing bargains. X

Line the terracotta wall plants pots half way up with plastic say compost bag & it will hold the water, but only half way up then they won,t get water logged.

Great haul! I have that towel color "taupe" everywhere in my home. It's a great neutral color. I love that tall ceramic vase! It would look good on the table by the sofa with some tall stems in it. I saw the black candlesticks and thought you might buy them. The glasses were very pretty!

The clear version of those coloured glasses are a classic design for water glasses in schools, restaurants and hospitals- they’re incredibly durable.

OMG! I would have bought the lovely old copper jug, the Wombles annual, the African basket bag, the cat basket, the cat nip, the battered little old table. I tend to get a little excited at boot sales and flea markets! Now to see what you bought!!

We've just had a new 2 seater sofa and 2 chairs and was surprised when they came in boxes. I think its such a good idea as our old sofa was so large and hard to get out of the front door. Loved the bits you bought. xx
I recommend spraying the new couch with Scotchguard made by 3M to prevent stains. The sooner the better.
🤩spray zaflor disinfectant on your furniture, to stop the kitties from ripping it to hit, spray bottle, warm water, & light sprays, the citrus one is good.
Some absolute bangers there Mr C loved the towels imagine them all fluffy and smelling great! Scrambled eggs with brown toast and watching you what a Sunday treat❤

Hello Iwan! Starting with the new sofa! looks great and what a great idea having a sofa that clips together like that! Looks fabbo and perfect for your room. Car boot finds! wow! The pots, all delish especially the big one, love that. Never too early to think of Christmas (there! I said it!) Each year, I tell myself off for not starting earlier! this year I must get on wth my home made crafts for gifts early. I saw the shell and instantly wanted it! Shirts all good, the one with the fleecy lining ideal for the cooler temps as we go into Autumn (There, I used that word too!)The towels fantastic prices for such good quality towels. and those glasses, have you thought of using them as tea light holders out on your roof garden, they would look great in the evening (if it ever stops raining that is!) The hanging basket with the fake foliage is amazing and so realistic. If you were to buy each of those plants individually would cost a small fortune so 2o squids , brilliant! What a great selection of goodies you've found! I love the glasses - I've had some of that make for over 20 years! I also love the flower pots and the shell, and the cheese pot...and everything really. I've got sofa envy too - my sofa needs an urgent repair which is fixable but can't be done immediately, so I have to sit on chairs too, which isn't the same!

Lovely haul I think those hanging pots are my favourite.
Many years ago our village used to have a yearly panto and I was in the dance team for 13 years still jig around the kitchen to the radio but not so agile now lol.
