  • In this video, we take you on a fascinating tour along the famous city walls of Dubrovnik. These impressive walls, standing up to 25 meters high, were built in the 10th century to protect the city from invasions. They are a remarkable example of medieval fortifications and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Our tour begins at the city gate, where we embark on a steep ascent up the city walls. From the start, we are treated to breathtaking views of the historic Old Town and the bustling main street, Stradun. As we continue, we enjoy a bird's-eye view of the magnificent Cathedral and the impressive St. Ignatius Church, both even more majestic from above.
The path takes us past the imposing Fort Lawrence, offering a stunning contrast to the deep blue Adriatic Sea. Here, we can fully appreciate the beauty of the coastline. Moving along the wall, we get a top-down view of the Ethnographic Museum and spot terraces on the steep cliffs where people are relaxing and soaking up the sun.
Passing the harbor and the impressive Dominican Monastery, we climb higher and higher. Over the red rooftops of the inner city, we reach the highest point of our tour, a tall tower offering a breathtaking view that will leave you speechless. Finally, we make our way back down into the charming Old Town, where our tour concludes.
Is the entrance fee of €35 per person in 2024 worth it? We leave that conclusion up to you. Join us on this unforgettable journey and form your own opinion!
