Do not underestimate the magnitude of this win - an English club going to France, let alone Racing one of the strongest French clubs, and winning is huge Well done Quins 👏
Saracens fan here - what a game by Quins, playing well about their station. Bring that to Tottenham next March, and we have a serious game on. Well done
@@RhydderchApRheged-rh7sj yes we do. Time to move on past this friendly friendly stuff. If you want the sport to survive especially at club level you have to create some group connection to clubs and rivalries. The Quins fans were louder than the racing ones, it was incredible. If they were all dotted around the stadium separately they wouldn’t have been vocal and they wouldn’t have had a good time as fans. It also helped the team perform more I believe. Get home and away ends and you’ll see a difference at the club game.
@@RhydderchApRheged-rh7sjThere should be a dedicated away section, but nobody should be barred from sitting where they wish. If you want to have a pint with the home fans, you should be free to do so, and if you want to sit with other away fans to make more noise, you should also be free to do so. Nobody wants enforced segregation
I disagree, Quins played very well and absolutely deserved to win today but judging by the last few winners of the whole tournament (e.g Toulouse, Leinster, La Rochelle) the salary cap absolutely matters
It matters because of the depth of squad you can assemble which allows you to manage the whole squad much better, so yes it does make a significant difference over a long season.
@@somanytakennames I mean this one weekend almost guaranteed that at least 6 English ones will get through. Would say Bristol are still going to struggle now
Just being sarcastic just for last year all youve heard is irish scottish and welsh fans say english rugby is dead its over and then this weekend other then sarries who still put up a fight and a half all english teams won not so dead now

Well done Quins 👏
Unreal game from Marcus Smith - Care, Esterheizen and Dino Lamb all deserve honourable mentions
and Joseph
As a Quins fan, that is the best I've seen Marcus play for a long time- and it was against Racing away! Didn't put a foot wrong all night.
Apart from that missed touch from a penalty :))
À great game from two attack minded teams, a joy to watch and MS is improving fast.
COYQ!
If Smith keeps on the boil and playing to that standard, he will be a great asset to eng this 6n
He's starting to grow past the hype. I hope he has a great 6 Nations, no one could ever say he isn't a gifted player.
Huge call not to take the kick at the end
Too cocky
@@wheelieking3976not cocky just ambitious
They had 2 points in the bag for tries and losing bonus point. Draw would have only got them 1 additional point. Worth going for the win.
It is called le panache...!
Neither side took a kick at goal all match. Some kind of pre-match agreement I think...
Great win. Marcus Smith was excellent. From a Stormers fan.
As a Lions (Gauteng variety) fan, well done Quinns. Marcus had an outstanding game!! Hope we get to this level of performance in the 6 nations.
Massive win for Quins - Dino Lamb and Will Joseph rly stepped up well done
massive win for quins
Dino Lamb deserves a lot of credit - never rated him until this season he’s rly turned it around
Saracens fan here - what a game by Quins, playing well about their station. Bring that to Tottenham next March, and we have a serious game on. Well done
that was an incredible tackle in the last play, very gutsy and determined. Great game.
Dino Lamb, once again, had a fantastic performance
What a match!
COME ON YOU QUINS
Damn. Nice one Quins.
What a result COYQ
What a brilliantly mad game. Great win Quins.
Cmon you quins
The mighty Quinns!
Superb win for Quinn’s!
English rugby is BACK!
Fantastic win for Quins , regardless of the result i thought they were the better team on the day, they played some great stuff at times.
Watch Arundell during quins tries
Yeah poor defence.
Arrogant by Racing at the end. Thought they could just muscle over for the win.
At home need to go for win
@2:59 is that andy carrol?
Doesn’t look anything like him 🤦♂️ maybe more Darwin nuñez
Bbc,and,itv,don't,know,what,there,missing
To be fair itv had the sale v stade francais game earlier
Seen other teams in this situation take a tap instead of a scrum (with opponent in bin) and likewise screw up. Poor management.
Pas assez drogués les Racingmen.
Sure smith has got to be playing 10 for England . Butt not against wales 😂😂
Racing won’t work this defeat out for about 2 seasons 😂
Never underestimate Quins
Don’t forget Quins beat Racing last season as well
Why are all the Champions Cup highlight packages so bad?
COYQ
What a drop goal, take that george ford
You do realise that a lot of 10s hit drop goals, not just ford 🤦♂️😂
Clearly Smith learned better drop-skills from England training with Ford etc.
Over 600 travelling Quins fans! Love it, fair play to them. There needs to be more travelling fans. Bring in home and away areas imo
I disagree. Having the fans all mix together keeps rugby friendly. We do not want to encourage this growing “football culture.”

so this tells us that a big salary cap means nothing i guess
I mean that’s true for any team realistically, just makes results like this harder to achieve and less common

Look, I’m happy the English clubs did well but it was one weekend. Let’s see how it plays out by the end of the pool stages
@@somanytakennames I mean this one weekend almost guaranteed that at least 6 English ones will get through. Would say Bristol are still going to struggle now

?

The Welsh Definitely didn’t say that - our clubs are abysmal at the moment and have been for a while 😂
An Irish rugby fan saying that was really good to watch. Well done Quinn’s.
@@aidanmasterson50maybe stop saying it now then 👍
After the 80th minute, accidental knockons shoudn't count, only forward passes. Make for some more excitement and late game comebacks.
I think the English teams will be quietly happy after this weekend of matches.
I see Kolisi still hiding out on the wing, as usual ....
Cmon you quins
