Inko’s, “I’m sorry Izuku!” would make more sense if she did take away his quirk and he was crying for not having a quirk

As a mother, I can tell you, if I saw my child in this level of pain, some of us apologize even if we had nothing to do with it. It is most likely an apology due to being unable to help her son. It is quite painful when you can not help your child.

I do like the theory of him taking Deku's quirk and giving it to Shigaraki. Maybe that's another explanation for Deku being able to see him in the vestiges.
Correction, when we saw shigaraki's childhood of him developing a quirk and killing his family afterwards, he never knew who afo or neither afo knew who shigaraki was. Since afo is the only person who can pass down quirks to other people, then how did he pass it down to shigaraki when he didnt know him? Keep in mind that shigaraki developed his quirk before meeting afo.

Small correction: there is a picture of Hisashi in the Midoriya house, but it's so obscure that we readers can't see any details. It's in chapter 96, right when All Might first enters their house; there is a small photo on the wall with 2 adults, one of either side of a third, smaller person (a child) wearing All Might "ears." This picture doesn't show up in the anime, which is a shame, but it's there in the manga.

I thought this theory was dumb until I noticed how AFO seemed to have rather intimate knowledge about Izuku, from knowing that he's the one with OFA to knowing his personality and vulnerabilities, in spite of him never having met the boy in-story. He's not a mindreader, so someone else must have told him about Izuku. In Chapter 97, Inko is talking to someone about Izuku getting so much support from the hero he admires: who is this person? I figured it had to be Izuku's absent father. I think Inko had been faithfully keeping her husband updated on their son's growth, not knowing that she's talking to a villain and her son's worst enemy.
I have a feeling what if Inko is the traitor and Deku will feel like he’s been betrayed by his own mother that she’s been hiding that fact AFO is Deku father and he has no choice but to leave her and have the heroes arrest her after his final battle against AFO and Deku will feel devastated that he has no family anymore 😢 and I wonder how Class 1-A will all hear about this too

Deku was born with the Decay Quirk and, after his father was accidentally killed, Dr. Garaki, Deku's childhood doctor, contacted AFO to remove it. This is a prediction I made a VERY long time ago. The age difference between Deku and Shigaraki supports this theory as you point out. There's absolutely no other scenario that is logical or believable. I expect this to be revealed by AFO to fireup Deku AND Shigaraki both. To increase Shigaraki's hate of Deku and to devastate Deku as his father's killer. This will boomerang as they both will focus on AFO as the source of both their frustrations and misfortunes.
They could also reveal it by deku not being able to be decayed because his body was designed for the quark.

Decay actually might match dekus personality. He’s really delicate and caring for everything. With a quirk like decay he has to be careful for what he destroys. This can also mean quirks can coexist in hero society.
With the right training and care, it is a pretty useful quirk. Construction companies would love it, it could be great for destroying things like trash.
@@carlycrays2831 More than that....imagine Government, Military or Police use of that quirk.....need to rescue a hostage, villains at the windows and doors, who needs to enter through them, put the Decay at the front with a few protectors and wooosh, silent entry through whatever you want. Decay a path straight to the target (hostage, stolen materials, etc.). It works in silence and on everything.
Toga, the perfect spy....snatch a criminal, take some blood, she drinks it and enters as them for info or materials. Each so called Villainous quirk has exception use in justice based society.
Yeah this was pretty much proven by Shinso(u)'s existence. His quirk can literally be used for a lot of wrong reasons but instead he can make use of it through getting information without any torture at all which makes it extremely useful for interrogations.
Plus it is shown that quirks can affect peronalilties or the other way around

I feel like we're only gonna get the reveal at the end of the story. Like the whole series is just him recounting events from his time at school and he's telling a story to his father when they finally meet years later.
what if Deku had an original quirk but it was not decay, what if it was that "copy" quirk that they always bring up. Why would I think this? cuz of AFO was Deku's father, then it would make sense that the quirk Deku would get is a variation of AFO. Decay is a far stretch from Decay but not "Copy". Also notice how Deku breaks down all quirks he sees and takes notes? MHA makes it a point that people need to know something really well if they use their quirk to copy or make it. Copy also fits Deku's character really well.

My theory used to be that dekus quirk was some kind of analysis quirk that is always active which is why it's so impossibly hard for him not to analyze and take notes on heroes and during combat he is constantly analyzing his opponents and finding critical weaknesses or a way to use their own skills and quirk to his advantage to beat them 🤔

It would make the story so much better it would explain why we barely know much about him and every one was shocked Tomura Shigaraki is the grandson of a nana a hero and one for all user so AFO being deku’s dad would be another shocker and it would make sense to why the first user has so much faith in deku and it would make the battle between AFO and Deku have much more emotion and intense as deku’s world changes and he has to battle his own father to protect society and the ones he loves

Nope hori confirmed himself that hisashi is alive and just "working overseas" and that he and inko are still married. He also said that hisashi will be "revealed" in the future and reveal means, its a character we already know, otherwise he would have said "introduce". And he promised "you wont be dissapointed" about izukus father. That alone confirms that izukus dad is not a nobody and its a character we already met but didnt know at that point it was him. Afo is the only character who makes sense to be izukus dad and fun fact is the first time we saw him, he was in america so overseas.

If Deku had the decay quirk originally it would be a plot twist if decay doesn’t work on Deku. Which leads Shigaraki and Deku to find out the truth together. Then they team up to fight prime AFO.
It also makes sense that AFO is Deku’s father because he can use all previous quirks in OFA. All might could not even though he was quirkless.
- Deku's birth : recover what he lost by Yoichi's death : a family ( and prevent the blood of the Shigarakis from disappearing )
- Tenko's adoption : having a successor for his domination plans if ever something might happen to him : and thus not having to involve his family in his plans : when he tried to get Yoichi to join his cause : he became an enemy ( OneForAll's creation ) ; and ended up dying )

It sort of makes sense that AFO is DeKu biological father but if he use to use fire breathing quirk it makes us think if AFO is hiding such quirk that he forbids from using until is time to unleash it. Or maybe DeKu father is dead for all we know, after all AFO is considered the lord of the underworld where the dirtiest of villains gather. So why would AFO know of DeKu if he hasn't crossed DeKu's father before. Or maybe DeKu's mom is hiding even a bigger secret like she might be a failed hero who couldn't become one. All because she had a relationship that led to giving birth to DeKu.
AFO will definitely make announcement about Deku is his father on Live TV and Class 1-A and Pro Heroes will all react horror once it’s revealed

Though the dad afo theory is very possible at this point, I still hope he's a quirk scientist who has to stay away from his family as to not risk their lives since he may know classified information like the origin of quirks and it could possibly risk his family if it becomes public. He could possibly show up in the very end after the war ends and could also be the reason for a sequel if it ever happens. At this point I just want go see him, this is just the way I want go see him but I'm excited to see what happens either way.

All for one does have a copy of his quirk and the original is with tomura, I do believe that all for one could of had children to make a stronger all for one quirk due to the fact that all for one can’t use certain quirks in deku’s generation because of how complex certain quirks are, and if all for one gotten the stronger all for one quirk and used the evolution machine that the doctor used on tomura he would be invincible

I think this theory is probably right, but I low key don’t want Deku to possibly have to kill his own father if it is. That would be so sad. I was hoping it would be a good character, but AFO makes the most sense. I am starting to think that Deku is one of the quirk mutation kids. I think he might have had multiple quirks at birth and decay was probably one of them. Something makes me think that he has a quirk that allows him to have and use multiple quirks. If AFO is his father this would make sense too, especially sense the first user would be his uncle and they both could have had a quirk that will stay undetected unless an additional quirk or so is added to it.

No because I actually think he is his father, because y’all know how in season 5 they are like oh time is now or something, and how one for all is different in deku and is more connected to AFO. I think it’s because AFO is dekus dad and it’s like a blood line full circle thing.
ALSO DID ANYONE NOTICE THAT THE ROOM AFO ORIGINALLY GAVE SHIGARAKI LOOKS A LOT LIKE DEKUS ROOM. So what if he met shigaraki, and took care of him in the same house he is paying for inko and deku to live in. Shigaraki is 6 or so years older than deku, so that’s plenty of time for AFO to move Shiggy somewhere else and start a “family” with inko in the same place.
My theory is that AFO is Deku's father.
So my first point is Nana Shimura and Inko(Deku's mom) have similar quirks, what if they're related in some type of way. Inko could be Nana's granddaughter that no one found out about. And Inko could have got with AFO to have a child, so she could get close with him and kill him for killing Nana Shimura. And AFO never found out, and he had to leave because of villain stuff. But Deku of course never knew about this, so when he went to the doctor, the Doctor Garaki told All For One about this and has been keeping tabs on Deku ever since. I mean how else could have All For One know that Deku has one for all and almost everything about him. Also it said that Deku's father had a fire breathing quirk and worked abroad. The work abroad could've been villain work and the fire breathing was just one of his quirks and maybe his main one. And we all know that Shigaraki doesn't hate AFO because he didn't know that Nana was his Grandma, so all AFO had to do was find Shigaraki and get him to hate All Might and Deku. Also I think that All For One is ready to get killed, because he gave One For All to his brother, but his brother didn't want to kill him, so it kept getting passed on until it got to his son, and Deku is the only one that can kill him becasue AFO won't let anybody else get too close to him unless it's someone who he cares about, or in otherwards his family.
Also the Doctor deku saw about his nonexistent quirk is the same dr that is helping all for one. and Shigaraki.

If deku was born with a quark and all for one took the cork from him wouldn't deku still have some kind of biological makeup in his body that would cause issues obtaining one for all? Like the other users died because their body couldn't handle the multiple quarks. Even if deku's power was taken away he would still have some kind of residue in his body. That would mean when getting one for all his life would be shorter

I don't see any logical way to validate That quirks get more powerful with each generation. I think they get more unpredictable and technically challenging to control but considering the most powerful person is still a first generation clerk user, I think it would have to debunk the premise of the doomsday theory

Deku killed his father with the decay quirk. The doctor took it from him and gave it to AFO who in turn gave it to Nana's grandson shigaraki to make him in to what he is today.
The obvious answer is yes, AFO is Deku’s dad, but it’s so obvious that it won’t have any impact when it’s revealed. We’re all going to be like “Yeah. We knew. This changes nothing.” And that’s why I think AFO ISN’T his father, at least I hope so, because Horikoshi knows this as well. It won’t be a “twist” or hold any weight for AFO to be his father. Not to mention how much of the series feeds back into Star Wars- this is a clear deception. Who or what they could truly be? There is absolutely no way to tell, but it’s going to be something that actually makes us feel it.

Idk why but when I was first introduced to mha I always figured that all might would be dekus brother and when I saw Dabi and totoroki I assumed they were secretly brothers cuase Dabi has blu fire quirk and endeavor has fire quirk too and totoriki obivioily and I also looked at Dabis eyes and at totorokis eyes and Dabi Kona had the same burnt eye like shotos eye I just making up random guesses at the time
I feel lik we see everybody elses parents (even if their parents are either shitty or show up for one sec in a episode), but we never see HIS dad. We see most of the other classmates parents who are close to Deku, but not his dad. If that there doesnt mean that his dad is someone whos already shown up in the story/ supposed to be a big twist, then this show got me fucked up.

Although it's possibility still lies, it could be hard to introduce an anime to children if they hear Deku's mom say 'I'm a single mother (HE AINT GO NO DAD)' instead of 'he travels overseas for work.' Additionally, the play on words in Deku's dad's name, clearly hinting that he's not present in the picture, is meant to be a chuckle joke.

Isn't it possible that if all for one is his father that deku naturally possesses a quirk in which he can copy or take another's. Which may show up as quirkless just like all for one's brother did. Meaning maybe deku can already use one for all before he even got it. I wonder if all for one will try to take one for all and fail and end up having deku take his quirks instead

AFO is the evil empororer Deku is Luke so I doubt AFO is the dad. I think its more likely that Shigaraki is Deku's brother that his father was a cheater and died and part of AFO's cover up for Shigaraki maybe shigaraki's quirk decay is Deku's.
