35 years ago we got into the air raid shelter under Bidston hill, it was massive, you could fit thousands in there. 4m wide pillars, 10 meters high, must have been 50 or 60 of them. At 15 years old it took 65 seconds to run from 1 end to the other. Almost as cool as the miles of tunnels underneath Liverpool, gained access to them when I worked in India Buildings, second floor basement and it went all the way to pier head, as well as having access to every single office block in the city centre.
Use to walk past the windmill most days on my way to Bidston Ave Primary school in the late sixties. Moved to Southampton in 1970 so this brings back good memories for me. Thanks 😊
Beautiful shots, Nick; I'm on the East Yorkshire coast and there's no snow at all, here, although we have got exceptionally high tides flooding the area behind the seafront.
Looks amazing. Any chance of doing some footage of the city tomorrow just so I know what the conditions are like for driving up to the game tomorrow? 😀😋
What a beautiful video of the Winter wonderland. Best wishes from Portsmouth.
A lovely way to visit a snowy landscape. Thanks, Nick.
