Hey Howee, young machinist here! Your videos are tremendous, really feels like being in a shop and having the master machinist talk to you and teach you things. The going off on tangents and mentioning side stories and past experiences really makes this a unique channel. I learnt from guys like you, you lads are the ones inspiring the next generation, and we appreciate that alot! Side note, you may like Discord for keeping track of notes, pictures, and different files you may need. You can make different files, channels, and send things to yourself the old-school way, its very simple to use
Hope you keep up the great content just got into a Tool and Die maker apprenticeship and as someone who knows next to nothing about machining your videos have been very helpful for someone just getting started in the trade. Cheers from Oklahoma.
Going to have to fab up a set of logging triple Vs lol. Definitely interested in this, actually a massive help right now. I was a millwright/rigger/crane operator for 20 years, got the 'vid real bad now waiting on at least one lung transplant, down to 98lbs from 185. Probably placing my order tonight
We are supposed to wear a seatbelt....howee ends up in a wheelchair testing a wheelchair lol. Honestly tho glad you do these little reviews I'm sure it helps many people, you have a very honest, knowledgeable and thorough review of everything you share. That can be hard to find online nowadays, often either people who have no idea or who are sponsored and biased. I remember years ago buying a greenhouse kit, one of the negative reviews said the ridge beam was too long, he went on to say he cut it and it was still too long... kinda gave me a glimpse about the guys skill level! Once you cut it and it's still wrong then you messed up!
Engrave the family name and contact phone number on the chair and the charger. Power chair techs have a scan tool that can adjust speeds with that controller system.
You probably could have put a strip of electrical tape between the contacts on the button and the contacts on the board. That is how I did it in a similar situation. Then left the button in place and Judy wouldn’t know any different.

In Kaliphornia the eould arrest you for not wearing a seatbelt & helmet. In the snow, add a floatation device ( life jacket) because globsl warming will melt the snow & ice.

It's very refreshing to see the thoughtfulness and kindness to help out the older folks in the community.
Thats how I open all my packages. Good job and thanks for looking out for your friend
Machinist struggles with bolt!! 4:40
It happens to the pros too, folks.
I'm a life-long manual wheelchair user. Buy a Quickie and add a Smart Drive. Easily transportable and reliable.

I was thinking, just 1/4" cable through the spokes. I dropped the chair off an hour ago & She likes it so far.

👍 thanks
This would have been a good choice for my mom before her passing.
Out of unrelated curiosity...what is a normal temperature in your shop during the winter?
Between 50 and 60 depending on outside temps, less when stuff moves in to thaw. Definitely the biggest operating expense by far.
