  • What does it look like inside a sawmill that produces millions of board feet of quality hardwood lumber each year? Here is a snapshot of the production inside Roy Anderson Lumber Co. in Tompkinsville, Kentucky.

I’m eventually going to do some videos sawing at my small mill. It’s just hard to saw and film.

I wander what percent of their white oak business goes to bourbon barrels? Cool video, thanks for sharing... Just a small difference from your mill.

I asked them that question and it's a lot. They even ship whole White Oak logs overseas for stave production. Yeah they got a lot more to tear up than I do, but it was cool to watch. In the 2 hours I was there, they sawed about 25,000 board feet of lumber. Amazing!
