Playing the "Vidui" is like unto a religious experience! I have done it many times in concert, and it never fails to make my hair stand up on my neck. Fantastic music! Bloch sobs and cries his soul out through the violin!

this is some very used music....love all the notating in pencil....I am trying to tackle this wonderful piece now....the notes are very helpful....lover bloch's pieces....this is my favourite of his violin pieces....actually i love the whole suite

It truly sounds like Hovhaness music - 3 times in movement 2 (from high note) until violin note go down. His music always reminds me that. Violin solo sound is very hostile because it have much more artificial notes than Hovhaness made.
