It’s actually true regarding short-form videos.. YT, Instagram, TikTok.. It gives empty follows/subscribers.. Yeah it’s giving small dopamine hits, but that’s it.. Like that one TikToker, with a ton of followers but didn’t translate to real supporters, no one came to her meet-up..
I would leave this comment, if you got such a big audience, makings shorts would not hurt you. I take what I can from your art and then start drawing myself, Have a good one!
