@@seanrosensteel Hi ...doing great work...your summary is very helpful ,specially for those who want to start their own microbusiness like me ....i wish you will upload more summaries of these kind of books in coming future ....
YES!!!! This presentation was so clear and it got me so excited about the framework that I just purchased the book!! It will take a month to get to Argentina but I will eagerly and proactively wait for it by starting to think about the vision, processes and rocks. I inherited a 40 year old tiny family owned real estate firm and relaunching it from scratch (3rd generation broker here!) with new identity, new people, new tech (same core values, though, so those will be easy to spell out)... and this book is exactly what I was looking for.... what a thrill!!!
Sean, that was fantastic - I was looking for a concise, yet fuller overview of EOS than I could find elsewhere. As someone else said, you CRUSHED this! I am interviewing with a company that follows this operating system and hadn't heard of it before. Thanks for helping me prep and I look forward to the opportunity to use EOS in my new role :-)
Great delivery, love the concept of branches! Just put this system up on our Trello board, going to grab the book as well. Definitely interested in trying it for our rental business.
Love this presentation. Our leadership team works by Traction. I have to say, as a Corporate Trainer and Process Developer, I did laugh a couple of times and now feel like a proud "process nerd". I love discovery, mapping and designing best practices for our processes. It's like cleaning out a cluttered closet. I guess most folks hate that too, LOL. Thanks so much for a great presentation!
Wow, this was really eye-opening! I loved learning about the 6 key components of EOS: vision, people, data, issues, process, and traction. It’s interesting how everything can connect back to these points. The idea of an accountability chart to sort out people issues is smart-it makes sense to tackle the tricky stuff first. Plus, I never thought of using a scorecard for tracking key numbers weekly instead of just looking at monthly profits. It feels like that would really keep you on top of things! Also, the IDS method for solving problems seems super helpful-identifying the real issue before jumping into discussions can save so much time. I can’t wait to try these ideas out!
Great info. This is perfect for me because I'm a BIG Traction/EOS but I'm ADHD and dyslexic. Great job on the book review. Very precise without any blah blah blah
I have enjoyed watching and learning from a number of book summaries - many of which are heavily animated. However, the consistent energy, interest, and insight that is brought out here makes 30 mins whizz by. Excellent book summary.
Fantastic summary of 'Traction: Get a Grip on Your Business' by Gino Wickman! I appreciate how you've broken down the key components of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). This video is a great resource for small and mid-sized business owners looking to increase predictability and profitability. Your passion for the book and its concepts really shines through. Thanks for sharing your insights, Sean!, Map file not working can please check it again?
This was so helpful. Joining a company that follows this methodology and this summary was perfect to give me a general idea until I have time to read the book. Thank you!
Thanks for this summary. You hit all the important bits. I'm currently going through the tools presented in the book. We now have core values/focus, implemented parts of IDS and Level 10 into our meetings, starting to document our processes and starting to work on an accountability chart. I'll be coming back to this video often!
Great summary thanks Sean. We are just about to start implementing EOS in our business and this is a great way to get the whole leadership team on the same page with what its all about.
