You might be from england or usa. But here in Australia the KOALAS are not Bears. Bears live in caves and eat fish or honeycomb. Koalas do not they live in Gumtrees. Get it right. KOALAS, KOALAS, KOALAS, KOALAS.

I know they can be dangerous if one attemps to handle in the wild and the attention is unwanted or startles these little gentle most of the time beauties!! They CAN give severe bites and scratches but they are so darn cute and mostly so darn gentle!!! Unless of course onestartled or scared period, or is Mum tellin teen joey, it's time to move out my tree!!! Or an adult male trying to keep teen joey outta his tree as well!!! Lmbo! I watched a video of a newby "I'm looking for a new home", "me Mum don't even want me", cries where the poor little one had already been run down the tree once and a it was half way down the first time when the video started and caught the jaunt back up and back down and the bark/roar the adult male as he warned the youngin off, was the first I had ever heard....being from the States and all...and then the blessed little one just sitting on the ground crying for about five minutes...i think...before finally quieting down some and eventually going to another tree!!!

There volunteer's searching for koala's needing water and help if mother can't be found they take them to a rescue center for care they just saved its life they spend there time and money doing this there animal lover's not to be insulted as abuser's the dogs are even trained to sniff out koala's there live savers and I thank them.

The babies or joeys go through gestation for 30 days and then spend 5 to 6 months in their mothers puches. So it might look wrong but truly it isnt.
