GDRN : Hver ert þú? (Live)

GDRN söng hástöfum sem barn en hætti því svo snarlega þegar hún varð sannfærð um að hún væri hræðileg og snéri sér að fiðlunni. Fyrir nokkrum árum kallaði söngurinn á hana aftur. Hugmyndir að lögum koma oft til hennar í formi setninga sem hún skrifar niður í skilaboð til sjálfrar sín á Facebook. Tónlistin veitir henni útrás fyrir tilfinningalega orku, sama hvort þessi orka er gleði eða leiði, og GDRN leyfir áhrifunum að koma til sín úr öllum áttum.
As a child, GDRN wouldn't stop singing. Later she told herself she was awful and stopped singing, focusing on the violin instead. A few years ago she found the inspiration to sing again. Ideas for songs often come to her as sentences which she then sends to herself on Facebook. For GDRN, music serves as an outlet for emotional energy and she can draw inspiration from everything she hears, whether it's a simple piano melody or industrial heavy metal.

I swear, from the first scene of Grima in Katla, and without earlier research or prior knowledge about the series, by only hearing Grima's voice talking to her father I was like "wait a minute, this is GDRN"! :-)
