This is great! La Dunne in an early film role. Even though the plot is formulaic and trite, Irene Dunne still lights up the screen. Love to see her light up a ciggy at 1:53 only to take one puff and no more. Always the lady!

Irene Dunne's pretty face is not enough compensation.
this film is intended for those who "are addicted in an irreparable way" to see every pre-code film that ever been made (hmm, hmm...).
I think have said enough, maybe even too much (about the film)...{thumb up on the video, given me the opportunity to express my emotions} ;-)

I 'm sorry, all due respect, cant agree. It is a darned good movie. At least for those who had wacko first wives or husbands !
CB had way better chemistry w/ Irene Dunne than w/ Kay Francis ( tho Miriam Hopkins in it, 24 Hours, runs close to " Dunnie" here in terms of odd appeal, not characteristic for them as WE today remember them but they were real people !) or Ann Harding. He was very skilled. Watch this movie a few times .....
