As a whole a pretty awesome track, sounds are good and suitably strong, and nailed the hypnotic bit :-)
But especially in the beginning you take a bit too long calmly fading elements in. Once you start cutting things in and out the track becomes much more engrossing. Mixing it up with a bit more aggression, alternating techniques more and adding more overall evolution would bring it into a whole other league.

thanks ! During the song i mainly play with filter and level on hihats and melodies in order to fade parts in or out
If I had that track I would make some changes and I would turn it immeadiately to "Hung Hua Brothel" Deus Ex.

There is quite some compression on the recording, where is that coming from? Is that a master FX from the Electribe?
I don't remember if i put compression on the master...
+BrlZA well, you did. And apparently some reverb too? Can you tell me what units/plugins please?
+Goth108 or maybe you didn't and my mobile adds the compression?! Seems different with headphones on. If this is the clean sound without any additional FX I'm really impressed!
On the master FX there is a wet reverb (which comes from the electribe). It makes the track a little darker ;)
when I create this sound I used headphones to mix tracks (because I didn't have monitor speakers)... that's why kicks volumes are too high.
If you listen with good speakers you will see that this sound is poorly mixed :/

I don't remember... sawtooth wave, resonnance at 12 o'clock, low pass filter and a lot of reverb I think ;)
it is so dark that I cannot notice any change since it starts until it ends...
